JMG12:
Lump sum depends on the account.
Example: looking through the history of an account that has not carried 20M in one deposit and suddenly such amount was deposited into the account the VO will consider it a lumpsum, also if the deposit is close to the date of submission they will see it used for demonstration purpose. You can sort out the living expenses.
I hope this helps!
okay. Thanks for this.

You still dont understand, every transaction through your account in the last 6 months must be explained with proof provided as to the source of the funds.
interesting. Thanks for clarifying

Please any help on getting a 2 bedroom accommodation in Dublin or counties around Dublin would be really appreciated.
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by JMG12: 6:38pm On May 11
No, but you need to explain the source of funds.
Doctorfitz:

Good day going by your analogy if an account has been averaging let's say 16 - 17million per month does that 20 million still count as lump sum ?

Thank you for your response, the school hasn't provided me with one yet but my question now is about the edubond payment. I am trying to initiate a payment and the amount is in Naira (probably because I indicated I'm paying from Nigeria). However the money is in a euro account. How do I complete the payment please? What do you suggest?

Segunagagu:

Which route are you coming through? If it's school. Approach any of those agent. It's FREE!!!!! If they ask U to bring money. Swear for them. Lol ...
But it's free. Don't give any agency money. U just need to use the certified ones that most schools in Ireland use. You can Link in with Icasng. And ask.

But don't give any money please. They get their money from the school after everything is sorted for you. Thanks

You might just have to use the Euro account for your Proof of fund. The Edubond is paid from Naira.

Hi Chigozie321, I need your little help I want to visit Ireland on tourist visa, I have applied online but am going to submit all the necessary documents at vfs this week, the company has already gave me SOA and other documents including sponsorship letter and company ID card, although the company belong to my aunt, am not working there, as I must provide my Statement of account as well, I don't have money in my account, and I don't want to put money there either, but I have asked the company to give me 3 months payslip instead.

Hope that 3 months payslips is still better ?

I am not an authority in Irish Visa processes. My little experience is basically on my Master's application which I am currently awaiting a decision on. I wont lie.

However, based on my past experiences elsewhere, my perception is that embassies use your bank statements to validate your income against the presented payslips. It is also a way to profile all visitors to their country.

If you present Payslips, then the funds should reflect in your account unless you want the company to write that you were being paid in cash. And that's a red flag you know.

I think experts in the house can speak better on this.

Thank u bro for your response, what if company writes that I was paid in cheque, as a matter of fact. It's now late cuz am submitting soon, but there is one more thing I want to ask, I have got all the documents, including company's cac cert, someone said I should add the identity of that my aunt to it and the tax of the company, does that necessary?
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by JMG12: 3:05pm On May 16
You only add CAC or tax if the company belongs to you. showing an SOA for your salary will suffix for all these but if your company pays in case or cheque then they can send you evidence to cover for that. Such as company salary invoices because they must have a record of monthly salary being paid.

It's not but that's where most of the opportunities are.

It is also a cosmopolitan city just like Lagos and Portharcourt.

I think your bank should be able to move that money from your naira euro account to the Ireland Euro bond account if you have the account details of the Euro bond account. Not sure of that though . Cos I can't remember how I did mine that year. Or U might as well just use the Naija Euro account like that... but like I said the euro bond just makes the VO More comfortable that the money ie yours because the money ie already in Ireland waiting for you when U land. The Naija Euro account is good too . Nothing spoil. 😀😀

Good day Big man, Please I will like to ask four questions. I would appreciate if I can get response from you.

1) does Post graduate diploma qualify for the two years post study visa or it’s solely for masters and undergraduate?

2) Can I apply for a Post graduate diploma in an IT course with my bsc with second class lower Political science?

3) If Yes is post graduate IT or Masters IT better? For job opportunities after school

4) what do you think of Limerick for study as against cork and Dublin ? For job prospect after studies

Cc Segunagagu
Thank you for all you’ve been doing, warm regards.
Re: Ireland Study Visa thread,General Life Experience of Nigerians Living in Ireland by Oghosagracely: 1:44pm
I just got my visa and wish to relocate.
Aww
Thanks so much but I have kids, I will therefore need at least a 2 bed flat. I don't mind the location in Ireland, I just need it to be within my budget of 1200 and at most 1500.

Then again is it possible and easy to get a work from home jobs? Like a customer care job. Do you know anyone who does?
Thank you
