The ones being demolished by my governor, Soludo, were those provocations as well? Too many emotions absent of logic will get us nowhere. Thank God Kanu is in Jail where he rightfully belongs never to incite violence against Ndigbo again. I saw a video here on NL where Asari Dokubo himself CLEARLY stated that he was the one that assisted Nnamdi to escape from Nigeria through Lagos. From Lagos State, Asari helped Nnamdi to cross into Benin Republic and he headed for London.

In that video, Asari Dokubo was very angry because he had already fallen out with Kanu who he called an ingrate for lying against him and he VOWED in that video that he would ENSURE that Nnamdi is smoked out, caught and brought to justice in Nigeria. By some kind of magical spell some months later, this dude called Kanu was indeed rearrested and brought into Nigeria to face charges for incitements, terrorism and jumping bail.

The Nigerian constitution trumps every referendum. I suspect you might have been listening to Kanu. This is 2024 my friend and every referendum before the creation of Nigeria is void and unenforceable anywhere in the world.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation governed by a CONSTITUTION. I don't know if you are learned enough or what your level of education is but, regardless of how a country was formed, the laws and constitution of the country trump over everything else that existed before the country's creation.

Why do you think he ran away and required a pardon when he returned? If any other person had tried the same, Ojukwu would have had them executed.

Gowon might be guilty of war crimes but If Ojukwu had surrendered earlier, Lots of ndigbos would have lived. When Ifeajuna and co tried to talk sense into him to abort the unwinnable war to save lives, he labeled them saboteurs and had them executed a few days before he abandoned everyone and ran to Ivory Coast.
