I read in previous posts that there is a WhatsApp group for interview date. Has anyone been able to secure a date?

I got a K1 visa refusal 221g to provide additional information I-864 which I have sent with my passport via DHL to the embassy.

I want to confirm, is there anywhere I’m supposed to upload those documents as well?

Does anyone have a scanned copy (back page in particular) of the additional information request letter?


Lastly, what is the timeline before I get my passport back from the embassy

You have to wait to receive notification from the embassy to proceed to scheduling a date whenever it is available that’s the new procedure no trick but in the interim make sure you join the WhatsApp group of ppl waiting for dates to be rolled out so that you can be among the next group

My K-1 visa journey is over.

It is such a relief to be done with this process from the K-1 petition in August 2018 up until the naturalization ceremony in May 2024.

It has been a very fruitful 5+ year. I can confidently say taking this step is one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. God has been super faithful. It is worth the wait.

Thank God this is finally over.

So, guys, keep pushing and keeping on. The end is far greater than the beginning.

Yes he can go to the embassy with it, police reports had 2 years validity the three months you saw is not the real validity

First of all each relationship is different so you guys are the ones that will sit down and look at things and make a decision whether you will go for K1 or CR1. But i prefer spousal visa than fiance visa. Like i said it is a personal thing.
Secondly you have to be a A - student of usa immigrant process. All you need is right here on the internet. With Google you will learn alot about the process. Infact if you will spend some time to research about the process, timeframe, what to file and how to file those form, you won't need a lawyer to help you on anything. Then if you have questions on something that you aren't clear about people can help you with it. Nobody will start to spoon feed you on basic thing.
