It's the same thing for everyone.... My HOD in sch who spent over 20 yrs in the US said when he was coming back, he had Nightmares and it was as if all the things he laboured for over the years was being thrown from 3rd mainland bridge.....

It's d same feeling when you spent all your life savings to go abroad to study and after 4 yrs you couldn't get a job and you're asked to return back to Nigeria.... Uno go get bad dreams ke grin

It's the same God that he is using to justify why he decide to stay after series of prayers and strange dreams (as Sam Harris would say, prayer is like playing tennis without the net; you win either way).

What was God trying to prove by not Miraculously prevent you and your family from contacting Covid in the first place, why allow you to suffer just to save you at the last hour after such intense pain. Is he trying to toughen you up or something? Oh God works in mysterious ways. What a joke angry
I knew why it happened to me and I've corrected that already. Thank God for second chance is all I'd say.

God can protect a pastor anymore? Meanwhile, they will be praying God's protection over the lives of the sheepie while they flee to civilize countries to enjoy.

Even when Elijah ran away from Jezebel for fear of his life, God brought him back to witness her gruesome disgrace and death. So shall your portion be if you also believe
With your logic, why couldn't God protect Jesus from mortal herod and sent him to Egypt.

This is the koko. I believe he got so used to the US during and after his graduate program on leadership there.

I remember his days on Radio Nigeria ,giving great inspirational speeches on success and leadership that touched a lot of us. If anyone told me that he will japa one day, especially when he was close to his 60th birthday, I would not believe it. I can imagine if everyone of us chose to stay put overseas. Who will build the great Nigeria he preached to us ?

I wish him all the best if he wants to run Daystar Church through Zoom and technology platforms.

There is probably a good reason he didn't choose to relocate to a third world even to run his graduate program.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
I found Sam Adeyemi's comments to be quite amusing.

Well if he wants to stay on in the United States with his nuclear family, that's all well and good as long as modern technologies exist to bridge the gap in communication between folks around the world via Skype, Zoom, etc, where he'll get to have facetime with his Church folks back in Nigeria.

But I ain't buying that "anti-Japada" dream story "from God" Sam Adeyemi said he and his wife had... NEVER. Lol It's his (and his wife's) subconscious minds that are at play here via brain image stimulations because the U.S. ecosystem is full of vast opportunities (if you know how to leverage on them).

I wish him and his fam the best though because he's an amiable guy.

He may be treating a terminal ailment in one American Hospital.
Otherwise, no way he would have abandoned his church business to go and stay abroad.

I don't believe the stupid stories he just narrated.
I have been close to two G.Os and some pastors. They all tell lies

The Bible called them hirelings.

Sakamaje pastors

A whole shepherd left his sheep for the wolves and ran away

Soon he will sell the buildings in lagos

He was teaching leadership, prosperity even collecting a fee, but decided not to use it for himself

Gullible Christians who only follow pastors you better learn repent and follow Christ using your Bible

Oga , learn to respect people's opinion. You are not the one that had the dream. His staying in the US has not removed food from your table.
Should anything happen to him if he decides to go against the clear warning just to please your likes , you will be on this forum, dropping blasphemous comments to spite him , God and Christianity.

Why are you getting worked up over another man's issue nau ?

Read the bible,if at all you will. If you fell into sin, not only you will it affect. Read the bible!!! But I know, people like you who love finding fault will never open a page of it

For instance, if you stole and you got killed, your entire family will bear the loss for a long time. If you killed and you're caught, you'd be thrown into prison. You, your entire household including wife will bear the pain for a long time not only you, due to the vacuum you'd leave behind.

If you engaged in corrupt practices at work and you got sacked, you, your children and family will feel the heat cos there would be no money for upkeep due to your unemployment status. Your kids could stop going to school.

that's a simpleton analysis of what was said- he got a revelation and the wife got the same- confirmed by the inner witness of other believers. What other proof does one need?
You are right.

God wanted him to Japa.

Which clear warning?

What if he dies from gunshot wounds in US?

Would that be a misinterpretation of what 'God' told him?

But he made his billions here. What's he afraid of? Is he not a servant of God anymore? Any man of God who fears death is fake cos you're not supposed to love the world or be afraid of anything if you truly believe and trust God who called you.

During same covid-19, I had covid, I almost passed but God rescued me miraculously. No medication worked on me. I infected all members of my family, including my children. We all survived it. Fake pastors everywhere. Only God knows who's truly serving Him.
That last paragraph about your entire family's survival from COVID-19 was deep. It must have taken a huge toll on everyone of you. Kudos to the entire global medical teams for their doggedness during that uncertain phase in human existence. Your perspectives about life and existence in this present cycle of human incarnation would definitely have changed on a profound level.

I'm telling you. He said he has branches only in Lagos. I blame some Christians following this type of men of God. These are just prosperity preachers. What happens to his members back home?

What's bad in taking gospel to the local communities and propagating local evangelism? Why US? I read his interview earlier and felt so disgusted. Apparently he's there to make more money. There are lots of the so-called men of God whom God doesn't even recognise.
So if God is telling him to move to the US he should not?
