Your OPay bank must be quite useless. These things happen and your bank should be able to sort these issues. Anyway, look for any UBA customer care lines and call them. Narrate your ordeal, they might help.

I've experienced this before and got my money back.

I went to the receiving bank and got my money back. They blocked the receiving account and asked me to bring a court order which I did, although the account was already dormant.

The money was reversed to my account in two weeks after the wrong transfer.

Someone did the same thing to my banny last month,but she was kind enough to send the money back to the sender after she was called.

Fortunately,the sender happened to be a neighbor of mine whom my banny do not know...

How do you mistakenly send money into somebody's account or was it just a business deal gone wrong.
If you're sending through bank app or pos, the person's name is shown.
If you're sending through a bank transfer, the teller confirms the account name.

Before sending money to someone will verify thrice the number and the name before activating the send button!

You need go to any UBA bank branch to lay the complain with the transfer receipt, they will check and if confirm that you truly send money to the said account, they will call the person to notify him or her to send back the money to you, then if after 24 or 48 hrs and the person did not comply, then you have to go back to the same UBA to let them know, then they will put the person's account in hold so that the person will not withdraw or transfer money out of that account. I m telling you this out of experience. Good luck

I made similar mistakes on Sunday.
Sent 5m to moniepoint acc instead of Fidelity. Got court order awaiting feedback from moniepoint
