You are doing well. They have very great farming prospects and wonderful idea.
My money went into okumu oil when the farm started harvesting and making profits from it.
I and my like will buy when they start harvesting, selling and making profits.
This is just my street credibility way of doing some analysis. This was equally what I used to make my pronouncements on dangota rice before sec hammer. It is nothing personal

@streetinvestor2 is right with the questions he has been asking so far. Ellah Lakes has been doing audio farming for some years now without any feasible plant on the ground. If you talk about Okomu and Presco, you can visibly see their farms in Edo State with lots of palm and rubber trees. Investors will reckon with Ellah lakes stock when the activities of their farms start reflecting in their financial result. Period.

Deep.
There are investable grade stocks & there are stocks meant for JIJO. Knowing the difference between the two is the key. There's a reason stocks are shorted in developed markets.

** To each his own.

The only doubt I have about this guys is at some point in time they will want to delist and eat the money alone, which I pray against.
Naija and prayers! Yet corruption and bad governance everywhere.....

Anyways I own Ellahlakes and hope they have Nigerians in their employment part of our social responsibility to avoid criminality etc while waiting for when they will start making profits. Please, there's need to call management out if they are corrupt!!!

Audio farm estates too many for this country o!

If an agricultural business has not paid dividend consistently for at least 5 years I wouldn't advice anyone to even invest in it .

Good consistent dividend is the true test of a well managed company.

Where is my Oga who always talks about the contagion effect? We may be about to experience it in all Dangote-related businesses, courtesy of the Dangote refinery. He is talking about establishing a terminal in the Caribbean, while also discussing sending cement at the same time. Sugar and salt may not be far behind. He is building CNG trucks in-house for cheaper transportation.

In my opinion, anything related to Dangote in the market should be considered a buy for the long term. It may not pay off today or this year, but it will eventually pay off. undecided wink

Nothing deep about it. The author is obviously shallow in knowledge and does not know jack about how market moves. Does he know that price movements or volatility is caused by traders he is trying to rubbish?... grin By the way, who tells him traders too don't also invest in stocks.

Though I am majorly a Gold trader but still day trade US and NGSE stocks at times; however, I have another account strictly for investment. For instance, when I see further potential upside in a stock I buy and hold it in my investment account until my sell indicator is triggered.... grin
I just like how you confidently stated that the author is "obviously shallow in knowledge" without taking time-out to find out who he is. Howard is preaching the same principle Warren Buffett talks about!

** had to go check the post you referred to maybe context was lost. *** Seeing the shallow in knowledge comment in response to the original quote, I couldn't help but grin grin. Till one is the presence of peeps endowed with knowledge and wealth that can get rid of someone's bloodline 10 times over yet be chill about it. IT's easy to dismiss people. Stay safe and dangerous grin grin grin

the amount of likes that post got shows me many people here don't have clue at all.

The poster didn't even consider the factor of how many unit the day trader may have.
