My own submission is if all the mega churches opened mega farmlands

Tomato’s won’t be 500 naira per piece

Sometimes life is just common sense and is based on empirical evidence not God this God that

Most of these mega churches have acres and hectares of arable farm land and so much money why can’t anyone just take the initiative

Because the things you pray for while in Nigeria are the basic and commonly accessible things when you travel abroad. You pray for a job here to take care of your needs it's hard but over there you'll see a labourer living a very comfortable life

People adjust to the lifestyle of their environment.

Also, the busier you get, the less attention you pay to religion

Nigerians mostly are hypocrites. To be religious is not the same as to be godly

You are wrong. People still hold on to their faith even while outside Nigeria.

This article is sham
Is it only the Christians that travel out of this country.

Let me tell you even some Western countries are built on religion.

The church as you know it is one of the strongest body on earth.

Ask the average Nigerian to describe their idea of God and Jesus and 99.9% of them would describe a WHITE man.
Talk more about traditional religion worshippers, islam, islamists and janjawēeds. Don't narrow it to Christianity alone. Allah ba musa!

Both on the right and left side of the Ibadan expressway is filled up with churches and other various worship centres who bought several thousand plots of land just for the sake of building a place in other to swindle people and you begin to think what is really the problem with us as countryhuh

Just imagine if those place are factories for productions or even farmlands, I'm not sure the country would be so messed up the way it is right now. Truly government have their own fault but we the citizens too have a lot of faults too especially those who are rich enough to site an establishment to help the economy but chose to build big churches all round the country.
but east is full of big churches but is still Hotspur of evil

THEY WANT TO BLEND IN WITH THE WHITES AND SHOW THEM THAT THEY ARE AS CIVILIZED. BUT WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW IS, TO THEIR EYES YOU ARE STILL AN ORDINARY AFRICAN FROM A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.
AT THE END YOU WILL END UP LOST. THEY DIDN'T ACCEPT YOU AND YOU ARE FAR AWAY FROM YOUR CREATOR. 2-0

That's what most so called men of God in Nigeria capitalize on to deal the hell out of some gullible Nigerians them go learn the hard way. Most idiots here on nairaland believe so much on their men of god that's why they fall too much to mental slavery. When ever you tell them that 98% of pastors and daddy GO's in Nigeria are criminals they are ready to fall out with you big time so leave them let them keep wallowing in self ignorant

Very misleading assumptions.im in Nigeria and not into any stupid religion whether Christianity or muslim.i dumped the shitt over 15 plus years ago and no regrets.religion is the most dumbest thing thing to ever happen to Africa. especially here in nigeria.it doesn't make anything or anyone better even morally majority are hypocrite and charlatans as I always say.the only gainers are the JIBITI pastorpreneur and shady imams who continually milk the hell out of their mugu members undecided even Many so-called intelligent and educated ones at that grin
