Older generations can be wrong in many things I can assure you. We need a little shake up of the old order in order to create a new world and future for ourselves.
The most important is happiness and peace of mind to all involved. Personal choices will be considered also. It is my personal opinion and I may be wrong.

Ofcourse I agree, what I mean is from the get go, I will place on the table my opinion, the lady hers to and if we like each other enough and share common interests a lot, compromises may be reached in certain things.
I will never seek to impose my opinion, that's draconian and not good.
In real life, I have a way of persuading and changing the minds very easily if I want.

Totally wrong to beat your wife no matter the situation. A man should be able to control his temper. I would rather walk away and would never lay hands on a woman.

There must be some element of fear mixed with respect when dealing with them...they should be afraid of consequences from you when they err...when you lose that aura of power, and a woman can comfortably disrespect you without any fear of retaliation, she already owned you. You don't need to beat her but she should fear WHAT YOU CAN POTENTIALLY DO TO HER

I have a question that always boggles my mind, why would a man sponsor education for a lady who is not his daughter, wife or sister.

Don't you think the brother is little bit stupid? I am generous to a fault but will never sponsor education of a gf, I will not even date a student as a matter of principle.
