It's dedicated to people who have never had to go on fasting for weeks because they had nothing to eat and break it with a bread, akara, and plenty water.

I feel like I'm walking barefooted on a rocky ground under the Saharan desert sun. I used to believe I'd be rich enough to eat enough beef when I get older, but now, I've got to stay up all night romancing the oven and producing bread just for a worthless pay.

Honestly, these days, I've been filled with more venom and rage especially when I remember how hopeful we all were as kids. Now, my mother is probably down to her last wrapper, this got me more bitter, maybe I should get closer to God and learn to pray to him nicer. Writing books with a heavy eyes after working for tens of hours, even we poor thugs all long to leave the ghetto and live nice lives just like portable did.

Helinues come to the hood so you see the utopia created by these people you support, it's just a home full of different people and trash who act like they have no testosterones. I've gotten so used to poverty that I feel money will make me lose myself but fúck that feeling, I'm tired of wasting my life like these green snakes hiding in the grass.

When you're in the street, you soon realize it's full of people life and their decision has made bad enough to kill, full of drug addicts like candidlady, it is full of people that life and their decision has made desperate enough to steal. And then it becomes clear that you're not safe until you're out but crying can't even help at this point.

I'm screaming like Pocahantas did when news of hungerbad's death broke out, only difference is that it's in my head and affects me on a deeper level. My life is full of lost dreams and bright nightmares, just like abba190, I feel discouraged, empty, and malnourished. I just wake up angrier everyday because somewhere Abacha's loot is meditating but fúck it, when we die, we all disappearing the same way.

Everybody's mad politicians are "sucking us dry" but it's clear that they just think it sucks they're just fans and not the players. I'm tired of doing dirty jobs and getting paid like an almajiri, I'm sick of cocky people who think they're rich and influential to do whatever they like to you.

I'm tired of living among these roaming lunatics full of unmotivating vibes who walk around with nothing in their stomach except ethanol. My mother wants to see me but I'm too mentally stressed and broke to go, people just live half a life and throw the rest away while for years I've been living like a full-time job and still be throwing away my existence.

There's people who hate me and people who love me, it's this evil world that's trying to force me to be shady, dark, and bitter. I want the financial freedom even if it means I'm stealing yarimo's printing press and inherited lands, even if I'm borrowing legendhero's checkbook and forging the signature. Right now, I feel like I just hit the bottom of the rock bottom, I've got problems but can't ask my family for help because they got theirs too.

I'm feeling like Anonemouz when schoolshoe dropped that comment on his mention in the diary section. Legendhero, my mother's feet ain't go no socks on them and those watches you were flaunting looks like they can do a lot when exchanged with our falling naira. So while you're supporting the ruling party, I hope your door at your U.S home ain't got new locks on them.

It's sad, I have never gone bestseller off one book, or gold off one song, or made any remarkable invention; so I'm going after a politician's daughter with 50 cóndoms.

I would starve all day and eat small eba at night with lots of water to fill me up so I can sleep. Then one day, a friend came crying that his hunger pass my own, and I ended up sharing my small eba and water with him for years.

I'm talking 1984-88 here, after I realised that my eating is not to be left to the sweat off the brow of some politician, but the sweat off my own brow. Never starved since.

All I can say is education, and pvc. And hope those starving learn to use both wisely so these times may pass for the starvers.

Yes, Nigeria has always not been easy.

In the 1950s, my father would walk 7 miles to Osogbo from my village, then all the way to Ilesha to get to the grammar school. And he had to return every Friday to work on my grandfathers farm on Saturday and Sunday.

As for you not voting, I can only hope the miracle does happen so you not only stand in line to vote, but before then, encourage your friends and family to get their pvc in advance too and vote. And while you are standing in line that you record what you see too to deter those organising the election from rigging it.

Its our country you see. And no one but ourselves can redeem us.

I follow your post and threads keenly and I see you curse yourself often which is bad. I'm not a religious being but I know too well never to be negative.

I am also broke like you or not as you, who knows! but what has kept me going is my hand work and "jama jama" here and there.

Boss you need to learn a skill, probably welding, plumbing or just name it .stop wailing, brace up and act. You can't keep working in the bakery for too long, one day dem go just fire you on top the peanut wage.

I appreciate your input, boss. Although this thread isn't really my true situation right now, I was using the only means of communication I'm really good at — writing — to express the feelings of millions of hustlers in this country including me. I'm good even if I'm not where I should be.
