It's fact..... Bad economy leads to inflation which affects earnings.... Low earning leads to less spending on necessities such as accommodations just to house one..... When economy isn't good or promising marriage is the least thing on a man's mind..... Those with good funds would rather relocate than stay behind.... So will avoid entangling themselves with any woman..... So yeah bad economy have made many Nigerian ladies single.... I have friends earning well working in ikoyi, vi that are not thinking of settling down because they dont see any promising future in the country..... Rather they just have flings here and there

Her argument is right. Most men right now are not ready for another round of hard life in the name of marriage. If you can't feed yourself comfortably, is it additional 2-3 mouths that you'll be able to feed? What's the point of getting married and having children when you can't nurture a quality family? How many quality families in your neighborhood can you count? That's the issue for most men in Nigeria right now, including me.
