Either get an explorative license and look for oil in Anambra or ask your state governor to set up a company and get the license.

However,they need more of Human Capital Development. They need to pull their people out of poverty. If they are able to do that, The state will be one of the best in the South

I think I am sorry to say Bayelsa and Delta have the signatures of the Ijaws. They are not good in infrastructural development. All they do is enjoyment. Share the money and waste it on ladies. One of them is in Rivers State presently. Go to Port Harcourt and see deterioration. Keke is everywhere. Okada has returned on the streets of Port Harcourt.

Delta state collects jumbo pay. Asaba in Anioma is capital of Delta state and shares Delta's income. Anioma does not produce crude oil and gas.
Some people of poor intellect want Anioma to come and be southeast 6th state. Iberiberism.

Just as you are talking about Akwa Ibom, come check out Delta. Then check the difference (in that 13% derivation) between Delta and Akwa Ibom, the difference is huge yet there is absolutely nothing to show for it in Delta.
I know they have good roads to some extent in Akwa Ibom but pls come and see what is happening in Delta.
The governors are a bigger evil that the president, I swear!

Akwa Ibom should build industrial estates, or even an Export Proessing Zone. It can lure in investors through investment subsidies.

The state can lure in Chinese manufacturers in some labor intensive sectors such as textile and garments.

Maybe most of the oil theft was happening in Delta State cause their allocation started increasing as our production output also started increasing.

It is good as they spare it for now. Who knows what luck it will be to the people. Let them continue excavating for oil in the barren north. God blessed every region with their own unique gifts. When the FG abandoned groundnut oil they should invest in in the north, they keep wasting scarce resources looking for crude oil in the north.🤣🤣🤣🤣.
What happened to the groundnut pyramid in Kano and other northern parts. It is a shame.

That one, the federal gov’t doesn’t want to come clean on! How do you want them to be paying a ‘nyamuree’ state like Imo 13% of proceeds from sales of the gas they steal from the state!? Paying Imo that much money is a bitter pill they’re not prepared to swallow, and this is why they installed a obedient house-nigger slave as governor in the state so questions are not asked!

Reps and senators from gas-producing parts of the country should fight for their share. They should know how much is made from gas sales and demand a share of it for host states and communities through legislative bills.

In the past, gas was being flared from oil wells, but now the government is putting it into good use.

What are the State doing with all these humongous allocations?

I have a friend from Delta state always blaming everyone but his own people let me draw his attention to this
