Anambra basin is a geographical area that include other some parts of Niger, Lokoja, Benue, Nassarawa etc
Some eastern states are not even included in Anambra basin. So also is chad basin include parts of Borno, Yobe, Jugawa, Bauchi and Kano. That does not mean those states are parts of Chad republic

Bro, no be lie you talk. Akwa ibomites outside akwa Ibom are really doing well. The state it self has nothing to offer any young person. No job, no security, pastors nd politicians are balling and most of the beautiful girls ar now into hook up. I think the major problem is that the state is counted among states that are educationally disadvantage state in Nigeria.

Just as you are talking about Akwa Ibom, come check out Delta. Then check the difference (in that 13% derivation) between Delta and Akwa Ibom, the difference is huge yet there is absolutely nothing to show for it in Delta.
I know they have good roads to some extent in Akwa Ibom but pls come and see what is happening in Delta.

At least Akwa-Ibom has infrastructures to show for it. What do you say about Delta State?

Most traffic lights in Uyo metropolis are bad. Pot holes on some major roads. In big 2024, Akwa Ibom powers street lights using a diesel Generator. Meanwhile theres a multi-billion dollar "worship centre" sitting idly somewhere. Its a big shame.

What does it mean if something is on the exclusive list? .
It just means only FG can regulate that industry. It doesn't mean other levels of government can't participate in the industry! Presently,Odua own an oil block. That was why I said govt that want to participate in the oil industry should set up companies and approach FG for relevant licenses

What does it mean that oil exploration is on the exclusive list?
Being on the exclusive list does not mean states can't participate in oil exploration! It means only FG can regulate the oil industry. States can set up companies that apply for license and participate in whatever part of the oil industry they wish. They can own oil fields, have refineries, distribute fuels, etc. The Aviation industry is on the exclusive list, yet Akwa Ibom has an airline. So, an industry being on the exclusive list does not mean states and local governments can't participate in the industry. It just mean they can't make laws that affects the industry.
Odua investment is owned by the SW states. They have at least one oil field. Why can't other states apply for oil fields?

I don't know about Kogi and Bauchi, but oil was discovered offshore Lagos, with evidence, but the commercial exploration is yet to commence.

Kogi & Bauchi are most likely hoaxes, but I believe Ogun State is another soon to be oil producing state with a riverine community.

You don't know but Google can help you. There's commercial quantity in all those states mentioned including Nasarawa, Borno and Ogun State.

"Mentioned" is different from verified. The one in Lagos is verified as the exploration has produced oil, so rest.

Sometimes I KEEP imagining the reason why Akwa ibom people are in Edo state exp Benin city doing menial jobs like car washing , sales girls etc when their state earns the highest oil revenue in Nigeria .

Akwa ibom state despite her wealth all you see on their roads are keke and okada plying their beautiful roads. I think they need to empower their people so that they can buy proper vehicles like mini buses & small cars instead of those ugly look moving automobiles.

When I look at the towns cities of Southern African countries I don’t see this ugly keke and okada’s.
