It may be already too late for that. There are too many simps in high places for anything to be done on a significant scale. The only option now is for each man to each man to set his own standards before marriage. Preferably not to even marry at all.

Pros of marriage:
- companionship: you would have a gist partner, bed sharer and a soul mate.
- Food: you would develop a round belly due to the constant reminder to eat.
- You won't slack going to a place of worship/prayers.
- planning a collective future together by making bold steps eg... relocation to another state/country.

Cons:
- Extra mouth to feed
- incessant nagging and overflogging trivial issues.
- Requirement to cuddle when sleep dey sweet you. .- External family (in-laws(and the need to step up when the occasion arises
- The mighty TM annoying list that even the spouses village ppl cannot afford.


In summary, it's a nice experience. BUT don't be a SIMP and allow your wife to control you.
