I will simply explain to her that the reason we are going on a date is to get to know each other, and the little i was gonna spend on that date (aka drink/snack or chop something) is for her to be comfortable as we get to know one another and discuss life and see if i want to see her again (or not) etc.... if she solely came to that date because of hunger (with stomach making hungry noise) and she is only looking to get out of there with my money so that she can go feed her family, then whats the point of her coming to the date (apart from my money)?! she is missing the whole point about what "A DATE" is.

i would just say:"HELL THE FUKC NO!" then get up and walk away!

She can't be comfortable with an empty stomach. The drinks you offered may cause her stomach upset because it's on an empty stomach and you wouldn't want her to embarrass you. She did the right thing bro. Just convert the money for the drinks to buy her the food

Again, you see what you want to see. If u take someone like me, a foodie to the core who loves to cook, to a very pricy restaurant most of which sell mediocre food anyway, I can just take one look at the price list and say bro, just give me the 20k and give me 3hours. We will fuel up the gen, I'll cook up a powerful meal and we will have a great time on that same money.

Admittedly it's an awkward thing to do on a first date but I still I admire her frankness. If I was looking for a woman to wife as a man, I would look at her twice.
