Is your degree from Benin?
He answered that he studied studied in delta?
LtChisom:
You'll see how due diligence will not be followed, as usual with APC and impunity; but you that brought fake certificate from benin and togo, thunder will fire you for trying to help APC destroy this country, after all up till now the main person in APC has a questionable certificate, if it wasn't fake, why would he shout inlagony that exposing his certificate to the public will cause irreparable damage, or didn't you hear it?

Your concerns about the misuse of fake certificates in Nigeria are valid and reflect a broader issue of accountability and integrity in governance. The potential for abuse, particularly in a political landscape marked by impunity, raises alarm bells. It's crucial to ensure that due diligence is applied rigorously to hold individuals accountable, regardless of their affiliation with political parties like the APC.

The critical need for transparency in public service, especially regarding qualifications, is fundamental. If individuals are found to possess fake certificates or have engaged in unlawful alterations of their personal information, they should face appropriate consequences. This isn't just about punishing wrongdoing; it’s about upholding the standards of honesty and integrity that should govern public office.

The situation with the current president’s certificate evokes further questions about transparency and trust. If there are uncertainties surrounding his qualifications, it undermines the credibility of the administration. Citizens deserve leaders who can demonstrate their qualifications confidently and without reservation.

Supporting punitive measures against those involved in certificate fraud, regardless of political affiliation, aligns with a broader desire for a more transparent and accountable system. It is not merely about individual cases; it’s about setting a precedent that discourages such behavior in the future and reinforces the importance of integrity in leadership.

Ultimately, a concerted effort is required from the government, civil society, and citizens alike to confront these issues head-on. Combating certificate forgery and ensuring that public servants meet genuine qualifications can foster a more responsible and effective governance framework. Public pressure for transparency and morality in politics must remain steadfast to prevent practices that compromise the nation’s future.

Sacking people in this harsh economy?

Na wahala be this oo. The government should handle this degree mill situation with care.

I disagree

Almost all the universities in Europe offer courses and certificates in English even though only UK & Ireland are the primary English speaking countries in the continent.

These schools run courses in their languages for local students and English for international students. They do this side by side.

That's how most of them make money to keep their institutions afloat.
Is benin in Europe, must we do everything the white man does.

I understand where you are coming from. Really I do. However, the truth still remains that they got their positions through fraudulent means.

Think of it this way, your favourite family doctor was suddenly discovered to have a fake medical degree. Will you still allow him to treat your loved ones? Your answer is as good as mine.

I know it is painful but the right thing is to let them go

Haba! Is it their fault? In as much as the certificate is genuine, I don't think the bearer should be a victim of an issue that's really beyond his/her control.

So the school didn't teach them medicine and probably taught them geography assuming ur illustration is right? If the school didn't get requisite approval... doesn't mean they didn't imbibe knowledge
