You may also consider the fact that someone may also express their views about your views, and you express yours about theirs, and they express theirs about yours etc and the list goes on.

Anyways, your opinions about any stocks is welcome, including Oando. It may be helpful in some way.

I said I would only post about Oando if there is official news. Happy to take this one as official.

According to this interview:

1. Okpai IPP supplies 15% of Nigeria's power needs. I believe he meant Nigeria's power consumption.
2. Current Oil production in the JV is up to 40,000bbls per day.
3. Oando has no interest in the O&G downstream.

1. Can we lay to rest the argument about whether the JV Power plant supplies power to the National Grid or not? I believe some assumed it was just for operations and supply to the local community.

2. For context, based on the 2023 report, Oando's daily oil production was sitting at 6,024bbls per day. Currently, it is 8,000bbls/day excluding ENI's portion. That's a 33% growth. Expect that number to increase to 16,000bbls/day (now including ENI's portion) in the Q3 and Q4 2024 results (a 166% growth) ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL. Please note we talking about the Oil component ONLY. It does not include the Natural gas and NGL production. Up to you if you'd like to imagine they would have increased by the same margin.

3. As previously explained, company's strategy and vision was to divest from low margin downstream operations. There was no sense in all the street rumuors but you can't control how people speculate so you just allow their imagination run wild in an endless loop of speculations. Makes no business sense to continue in the marketing of petroleum products. In fact, there is no company operating in the Upstream that would be keen to supply a local refinery as they would have to do it in Naira as per the PIA. They are all after the petro-dollars. Hence the reason why the NNPC will have to supply local refineries (Dangote et al) from their own share of JV production.

Disclaimer - Not suggesting anyone should buy or sell Oando but just providing commentary

It has always being their formats. OANDO should get to work by showing us improvements in their books

Allowing oppositions to ask questions or make their observations aired too will keep any company healthy

We can't always hear from one mouth.This paid PR stunt and paying many people on all media fronts to speak well of it won't help oando unless they start improving on the books

Oando is heavily indebted and their financials so far has been heavily negative

Many haven't considered their OS when dishing out unrealistic prices for it

Not to querry your choice Sir. But Prestige has not gone up to that value in past 5years...so why the hunch it will?

For Prestige, I am waiting for 0.48 sir. The price should drop further because the company needs to meet its free float requirement.

Profit Target = 6k x4 x 4 = 96k

So if entry is about 0.48, one could see a 100% gain especially if able to pay at least 5k dividend this year.


You still have to do your due diligence though.

I noticed that anyone saying any opposing thing about oando automatically becomes an enemy or hater but I don't care

@godlyguy. The decision to post on this thread is your business. It does not matter on the stock. I personally do not wish to be talking about oando unless I see it very necessary. This is because I didn't come to nse just because of oando like some other persons.This thread does not belong to a person or his family. Pls you are free to post your opinion on any stock as long is stock related. whether you have the stock or not.
Walahi nobody will dictate the direction of this thread whether it is for or against a stock. The only thing is your post should be informative or educative on the said stock deviod of hunting

Please remember to release the other gem that you promised. Oando may be become too high, saturated and unavailable, so we need the other stocks as well to diversify.
No apologies to those who take offence at the various interests in Oando. Na opptunity to make money we dey look for, not to fight or use irresponsible and rude street and gutter language on anyone here.!

Let those who are interested in Oando be the ones to worry about the poor results and the risk it carries. Why cry more than the bereaved?

Okay. I agree with you perfectly. You are super correct.
It is also my opinion that those of us who have Oando also know and understand that we can be entrapped in Oando because of the large OS.. We can even lose money Since that may be your genuine fear, wish or expectation. That is the nature of the market anyway. We already know that.
You can say it again and again and again and again for ever.
But we already know it too well so anyone saying it does not make a difference.
This is also an opinion, okay?
