you can blame your problems on the gov all you want but that certainly wont stop you from going out everyday and looking to fulfill your responsibilities. TWO salaries (however small they may be) is better than one.

you job as a parent is to feed your family, FIRST AND FOREMOST, regardless of the situation on ground... thus why some men lose their job and STILL have to make ends meet. some men get sick and they (husband and wife) still have to take care of their needs/children.

The situation is terrible. Getting a job that needs transport to and fro now looks like slavery .

I previously created a topic about an employer that refused to disclose salary range.

Days ago on Facebook, I posted in a group that I needed a job that can pay at least 100,000 naira monthly.
Same employer contacted me. I had to remind him that we have spoken before.
This time, he had no choice but decided to state the salary. It's a position of a secretary and he's said the salary is 40k.

Transport to and fro will cost me 1,000 daily.
So let's assume 25,000 naira is spent on transport, leaving a balance of 15,000 naira. Will 15,000 naira be enough to feed me in a month? That's 500 naira a day. Can 166 naira put food on the table? Other expenses nko?

I told him it can't work for me. And he asked me to find anyone that can take the job.

This life eh.. Sometimes, I wish the night never ends. Cos once it's morning, depression sets in.

When will this phase be over?

That was how I quit my teaching job that's paying me 85k to embrace a freelancing job that pays me 300 to 400 Euros monthly. My only regret now is wasting my years in teaching field. Remember 1€ =1842#

Nigeria is really very unbearable for a lot of persons right now as we are experiencing the worse economy ever recorded in this country. So if people are expressing themselves about how overwhelming it is for them right now I don't blame them. Is a reality we are all aware of.
