Greetings, Please I have a question. When doing my skill assessment with engineers Australia, I assessed only my degree without assessing my experience. This is because of the additional cost for also assessing experience and also because I only have barely three years of work experience. Please when lodging expression of interests, can I still include my experience even though they were not included and assessed when by Engineers Australia ? |

tunlex01:Good morning, @tunlex01 @bellong and everyone. Please kindly help with this question. After making an unsuccessful ACS RPL attempt and you wish to try again, is there any chance they will compare your previously submitted documents with the new one or did they discard the old submission? Thanks |

Wisdommyth:I think Imigrattion uses your expereince form Engineers Australia as your "official working expereince" So if Engineers Australia assesses your CDR and gives you 3 years then Immigartion will accpet 3 years as it will be written on your Engineers Assseemnet Outcome. Also bear in mind that engineering points are high now. |

MhizGladys:Madam you need IELTS to apply for any of the Visas. to get a job as a Teacher , your visa is the most important priority. However are you a professional Teacher? If so , apply fast, Teaching is priority just like the medical field. |

Wisdommyth:yes you can as long as you have documents for it. Also, if it's up to 3 years, you will need to still do the assessment as DHA will send you back to get an assessment with them. |

Devasia:What is the anzsco code for your occupation? Because your degree is also not considered a Bachelor's degree (due to being a 4 year course from UniCal), you can only nominate a level 2 occupation. |

tunlex01:Thanks so much. Hope it wouldn’t be difficult getting a sponsor because the process to get licensed is rigorous, though i have started. I am actually thinking of the WA DAMA. |

1. Would my B.Eng be accessed or just the Msc? Cos I understand I need to provide transcript. 2. Can my direct supervisor provide a statement of service letter for me? Getting one from the HQ is a big deal. 3. To get a positive skill assessment, should i wait till January 2025, my job experience would have been 5 years by then. Thank you tunlex01: |

dejol88:Yes, I got a Engineers Australia positive skill assessment via Washington accord for professional civil engineer even though my bachelors is on Sydney accord, I guess it’s because I have masters degree and it is eligible for the Washington accord pathway. |

Good evening all. I must appreciate the wonderful work done here by the poster and all other members here . My question is this. I have an OND Electrical Electronic 2004 and I got employed with it in 2010 on the HSE career path and I have grown on the job over the years and still on the job till date. I have also a gotten B.Sc Environmental mgt and M.Sc Environmental mgt. Assuming I want to apply for any HSE related occupation in Australia, how is the best way to get assessed considering the fact that the qualification I used in starting my career is not of same field of occupation I intend to apply for now since HSE has been my specialty for years now. How do I get assessed with OND Elect Elect while applying for a HSE related occupation in Australia |

inagbe1:It's not an easy task these days because there are a couple of people looking for sponsors too but you should be a ble to get one before the APharmC deadline of 12 months |
| Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 1:33pm On Oct 16, 2024 |
graciielo:1. you can provide both of them 2. yes, as long as it meets the content required 3. no, you can start now. the date on assessment continues as long as you are still working in that occupation. |
| Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 1:35pm On Oct 16, 2024 |
Devasia:Sadly, it won't work. 234514 is a level 1 occupation which requires a bachelors degree. your qualification is equivalent to an Associate degree in Australia which is lower than bachelors degree. your result will return a negative assessment so look for another occupation that has a level 2 or below. |

YoungDaddyB:WAEC does not have anything to do with this process. it's high school certificate and not relevant |

elvis07:I cannot provide an answer to your enquiry directly until you find an occupation you want to assess. First of, you cannot even assess HSE if you dont have a degree in Occupational Health but spend some time to check the occupations you can nominate using this guide. Guide to check your occupation and ANZSCO code: From a laptop/desktop Visit www.anzscosearch.com You may need to register on the website to view the details below Desktop: 1. Select ‘Lists’ at the top of the webpage. 2. Click 'Skilled Occupation List' 3. You will see about 500 occupations on the list. 4. Keep scrolling till you find occupation(s) that align to what you do. 5. Click the 6 digits ‘ANZSCO' code on the left. It will load the full page 6. Select 'ANZSCO' and scroll to tasks. 7. Check if the tasks relate to what you do. Mobile device Click the hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines) Select 'Lists' > 'Lists 2023-24' > Skilled Occupation List Follow steps 3-7 above. You may find more than 1 occupation. Revert here with the occupation(s) and the Anzsco code(s) |

The job I want to nominate is occupational health and safety adviser. I have B.Sc environmental science and M.Sc Environmental mgt. I am NEBOSH certified, OSHA certified and so many other professional certifications on HSE. I started work with OND and trained on the job before upgrading my academic qualification to the level I listed above. The OND is in computer science but I am in HSE field before furthering my education to align with the profession I am into. tunlex01: |

elvis07:Hello Sir/Ma, sorry for sliding in uninvited. I'm intending to start up a career in HSE and need someone to direct me appropriately on the relevant online courses (mostly free ones for now ) to do, I'm taking one on Athena but it feels like the certificate from Athena, Cousera and Udemy aren't recognise amd cant fetch me a good start-up job. |

elvis07:It won't fly for that occupation. OHSA is a group A occupation that requires a degree in Occupational Health. certifications like HSE or NEBOSH do not count in this case. Only qualification does. |
