What the title says. Which sending money home apps are others abroad using to send money to people in Naija?

I've used Western Union and too much wahala. I've to go to a Western Union location to have them do it for me. If I want to send directly to a Nigerian bank account number, how can I do this easily myself using a good send money to Nigeria app?

You can open a UBA diaspora account online and the bank would verify you via whatsapp. I did and it is very effective and safe.

The BVN team came to my state sometimes in the past and I was able to enroll, I believe you may able be able to open without a bvn.

The UBA Facebook chat team are very excellent and helped me answer all questions that I had and I started using the account for transfers.

You can't get Bank Verification Number except you have a legitimate means of identification.

You don't need to go through the hassle of bvn, just use world remit or other apps on apple or PlayStore.

It is a bank verification number introduced some years ago, in Nigeria, you can get that in 10 minutes in any bank. I did mine outside the country some years ago. I believe there is a way to register for BVN in your country of residence.
Alternatively, you can chat with UBA official customer service on Facebook Messenger, the name is "UBA Group" and they will answer any question you have about opening the account. They are quite efficient and helped me a lot when I set up my account.
