SAK:Quantum Zenith Securities is not the same as Quantum Securities, they are two different companies not related in any way. The Quantum Megaealth is referring to has closed shop as stated. They used to be around Alagomeji, Yaba before they went under. I have helped some of their customers to move their stocks to Investment one. In fact one just contacted me this night for same purpose. |

SAK:We have job mobility. People working in the financial service sector were very mobile about 15 to 20 years ago and some made serious career mistakes. Someone left First Bank on a monthly salary of 140k to Intercontinental Bank for a monthly salary of 700k in 2007. He was the account officer of a very popular oil and gas company that is yet to release their 2023 financial report. Intercontinental though by employing this guy he would be able to convince the said company to move their account from First Bank to Intercontinental Bank. Meanwhile the company had been doing business with First Bank since 1970, moving the account was impossible. Can you believe the guy earned that salary for less than 12 months before he was retrenched and was jobless for about 10 years, whereas his guy at First Banks have been promoted, salaries reviewed etc. Luckily a customer at First Bank who is a business owner later gave him a job as a manager |

emmasoft:Hello bro. Please what will happen to investor's money in for example ucap MMF (money market fund) if ucap goes under water? Will the investors lose their money wince this is more or less in-house investment rather that equity investment domiciled with SEC |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 8:22am On Oct 06, 2024 |
emmaodet:You are safe, it is a SEC regulated mutual fund. Abacus Merchant Bank went down but their MMF is still existing. The fund was later managed by Kakawa Asset Management, later managed by Investment One now managed by GT Fund Managers Skye Bank went down but the SFS REIT is still existing. UPDC had financial issues and could not pay dividends, but UPDC REIT was paying regular dividends. Before Custodian bought UPDC, UPDC was getting an annual dividend of over N1 billion from UPDC REIT In oeder to have liquidity it was UPDC REIT that bought Kingway Building from UPDC few years ago for about N4 billion |

emmanuelewumi:Very correct sir When BGL folded up I wrote off the little amount I had in their mutual funds. Like you said they continued under the new name ACAP funds. Mutual funds are quite safe because the asset managers and custodians are different institutions. |

SonofElElyonRet:That was how one employee left my stockbroker and was calling me trying to convince me to move my account. Is this really morally right? |

I opened ACCOUNT with new everything with Chapel Hill Denham just recently because someone HERE has been pestering me to open with them to help them keep their job. I just had to help the person because the person has been persistent with the request for over a year now... I don't even know how they got my personal email ![]() I used plural pronoun so I don't reveal the individual's gender Agbalowomeri: |

Amber Alert!!! Watch out for WAPCO and GUINNESS. There are some sentiments reflected in their charts, though I'm not certain whether they are positive or negative. |

ositadima1:WAPCO s time is near. It should start catching up with its peers. |

https://nairametrics.com/2024/10/05/bullish-momentum-in-nigerias-oil-and-gas-sector-can-the-rally-be-sustained/ Is above a balanced writeup? Oando's major source of concern is the negative retained earnings, while Seplat's is over valuation. They didn't touch Aradel and Eterna. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 12:55pm On Oct 06, 2024 |
Raider76:With the spate of developments, acquisitions and upgrades in the sector, I doubt if its possible to predict future earnings of these oil and gas companies. Their analysis could be based on H1 results alone. It may therefore be too risky to make valuation on just that. Let's just wait till year end. |

Ginalex:https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/42250_LASACO_ASSURANCE_PLC.-_QUARTER_1_-_FINANCIAL_STATEMENT_FOR_2024_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_OCTOBER_2024.pdf Lasaco may be returned to the Market tomorrow morning. Is it likely to rally 100% like Regency Assurance? Is it safe for me to buy LASACO if it returns to the stock market? |

Mayu77:You can open NASD cscs account with investment one stockbrokers. Click the third link on my signature to register. However, after submitting the form, kindly send a mail to the customer care to inform them that the registration is for NASD not for NGX. This is very important otherwise by default they will open cscs for NGX or contact me with the phone number on my signature |

emmaodet:Pa Emma said it all. Let's understand that to a very large extent the money in MMF is safer compare to what you have in MDBs so long as the fund manager and the product is SEC regulated. If commercial bank goes under according to NDIC, it's a max of 5m you have as guaranteed, but if a fund manager goes down you will only have a change of fund manager nothing happens to your investment. The former union trustees mixed fund is now with capital express with all investors' money intact. |
