Good evening. Please I have a question. I want to apply for standard visitors visa for my plab exam. Please can I borrow from a loan company to apply for the visa?

The loan will be on the payslip, but not reflect on my bank account.

Good morning house, I studied Architecture, I am into IT too. I want to study MSc Cybersecurity and have secured admission. Please can it affect immigration decision or visa issuance since they are two different courses just like they do in Canada and Australia on the ground that the undergraduate course is not related to MSc course?

That is intentional misrepresentation, don't try it and if found out....you will lose big.

It Is sad that you are in this situation. However, it seems that the only alternative you have now is for your husband to get a different CoS and he must also write the English test as he did not finish his Msc course. Otherwise, I do not see a way out of this. I have seen people let their young children overstay with the hope of applying for "right to private life" if they have spent 7 years in the country before age 16 but for your husband, that can not be possible.

I'm looking at these because they're cheaper and can also pay in naira compare to I.O.M Centres (Lagos) which is 95 USD. I'm about making payment and secure a date for the test. Thanks in advance

How long does it take for the university to issue CAS and do the university conduct PRE-CAS interview?

Look into Revolut bank or starling. Monzo bank is very difficult to get as a student now.


For jobs, I can only advise you to prepare your CV, ask questions and apply to many job sites as you can.

Good day house,

I had my biometrics on 22 August, on 29 August, UKVI requested for additional documents which I sent on 30 August. Since then I am awaiting decision on my Visa application. On 23 September, I maid a paid call and was informed that a decision has been made on my application. On 25 September, I repeated the paid call as it's already past my start date, I was told that a decision has been made.

I wrote a mail to my school and a start date which was due to expire on 27th September was extended to 4th of October. On the 2nd of October, I wrote to the school to inform them that I hadn't gotten feedback on my application. I also asked that they give me till 7th October citing the previous paid call where I was informed that my documents would be returned on or before 3 October. They responded and asked that I should let them know as soon as I receive my passport on the 3rd so they'd extend till 7 October in order to allow me time to travel to the UK.

On the 3rd, I wrote a mail to the school after I didn't receive confirmation mail. The school replied and advised that I cancel my Visa application on the ground that I won't be allowed for late enrollment.

I escalated on 30 September, and am yet to get feedback on my application.
Has anyone experienced such delays?
How long does it take to treat escalation? Please what could be the reason for this delay?
Please I need advice.

you should have asked for this advice before now. do you have family in the UK? by this question, I mean where you can live without paying rent for at least one year.
