A 10-20% premium of Aradel’s BVPS will be a good region to load the bag if such an opportunity arises.

Correct me if l am wrong here but the shares outstanding that was used to compute should be the old shares outstanding and not yet the new shares outstanding at H1 2024.Even the share price should be that at half year H1 2024 and also the EPS ......etc

The PE for Aradel is not correct it’s about 30x
Forward PE is less than 20.

Half year EPS is N24 , hopefully full year EPS will be about N48.

At N710 that will give a forward PE of about 15

But how could SEPLAT have a PBT of 244b and a PAT of 68b? Does it mean they paid about 70% of their profit as Tax?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 2:18pm On Oct 13, 2024
Yes, they had significant tax and deferred expenses and that is the projection for FY24. About a 72% effective tax rate

There is a podcast (a weekly audio program) that I follow which discusses billionaires, how they started, their influence, and whether they are good or bad. They featured Dangote in their program two weeks ago. I finally decided to listen to it, and it was quite eye-opening. The often-discussed topic of monopoly is true, though in a complex way. He donated large sums of money to Obasanjo's campaign, and in turn, Obasanjo favored him quite well. Dangote made his first billion in 2008. They talked about a lot in the 38-minute episode.

THE TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF NGX ASI
Since August, the All-Share Index (ASI) has been attempting to display strength on the daily timeframe, pushing the index higher. However, the attempt made in the last week of September encountered sellers, pushing the index down to around 97k. This level is proving to be a strong support area, as it had previously prevented the index from dropping further in May and early August, before finally breaking down in mid-August.

Looking forward to the trading activity on the exchange, a close above 99k would indicate a short-term positive outlook for the NGX ASI. On the other hand, if the index drops below 96k, it's likely to attract many buyers, which would likely cause the index to rally back into the ranging zone.

A good read.
What I get from the writeup is; he tries to closely guarantee policies that will support his proposed business in future from political elites in power before venturing into them.

That's the supposed monopololistic tendencies...

Not quite different from the popular term-- lobbying...

He is a smart businessman that understand the power of money and strategic thinking.

This is one reason people should keep stockpiling Dangote Sugar and NASCON and even pray the stock price deep further so that you can buy more units.

DangSuga and Nascon are great investments waiting for an explosive rally.

6M naira into Zenith shares or into FGN Bonds at 18.085% interest per annum for 3 yrs and reinvesting every coupon payment into Zenith Bank Shares?
Or buying UBA shares?
Which is the smartest move?
