Compilation Of Tithing Blunders Made By Prosperity Gospel Preachers

Over the years and decades, we've been bombarded by numerous blunders and heretic teachings about tithing from the stables of prosperity teachers, hence it behoved us to compile them so as to expose the prosperity gospel for the scam it truly is.

1. Ayo Oritsejiafor BN(former PFN/CAN president): "if you don't pay tithes you will die quickly". (Note: This was the same man whose private jet was impounded by the South African government during the Jonathan government for money laundering).

3. David Oyedepo: "Job's riches weren't secured because he didn't pay tithes". (Ironically the same Oyedepo later started blowing hot about suffering losses of millions of Naira of his church money being stolen by some of his highly placed church officials).

4. David Ibiyeomie: "Adam didn't eat any apple. He ate his tithe".

5. U.O Miracle: "If you eat your tithes, you'll die poor as Lazarus".

6. Unknown: "Jesus died poor because He didn't tithe".

7. Pastor Adeboye: "anyone who doesn't pay tithes won't make heaven". (He's since apologized for this heretic teaching though)

8. Pastor Adeboye: "Jesus was not a parish pastor. He was a world evangelist", as to why "Jesus didn't collect tithes". (Expecting an apology for this one very soon)

Stop that! The Church is not immune to self evaluation and judgement. Infact, it is encouraged to do that before attracting Divine retribution. It's not a cult where you can't speak against the excesses in it. If God is going to deal with a country, He starts from the Church.

The reason for the numerous blunders made by these prosperity preachers about tithing is because the so-called prosperity gospel preached is not of God, but deeply rooted in the cares of this world, pleasures of this life, deceitfulness of riches, which chokes the sown Word of God and renders it unfruitful. Matthew 13:22.

It is the doctrine of the pharisees who were said to be covetous men and lovers of mammon, that Jesus warned His disciples to beware of. Matthew 16:12

The pharisees because of their covetousness and love for money placed material and monetary matters, such as tithes and offering, the minors of the law above the major ones, such as justice, mercy and righteouness in their teachings. Matthew 23:23.

Therefore Jesus said the pharisees through their erroneous doctrine had made the Word of God to be of none effect. Matthew 15:3-6.

Hence why it shouldn't be surprising to see those preaching this same erroneous doctrine of the pharisees, aka the prosperity gospel today, also doing same thing to the Word of God, through their numerous blunders and heretical teachings about tithing.

You have to go on your knees and ask God for forgiveness for this post you made. I never expected this to come from you because I've seen your posts in time past and thought you're born again. Why are you fighting the body of Christ? "It hurts you to kick against the goads".
Even if any of these people you mentioned made a mistake it's absolutely wrong for you, being a born again as I suppose, to be the one criticizing them, and that publicly! When I saw the headline of this post I thought this is coming from the opponents of Christianity, only to open the thread and behold your moniker.
Infact aside asking God for forgiveness privately you must apologize on this platform too, cause many will read your post and be emboldened to reject Christ and His gospel. You should know that he that is not with us is against us. If it is a question of misleading people with false doctrine I will understand that. Not this issue you raised here.

The more I think of this the more I consider it was never the men of God fault. It's is the followers. I was born and dedicated into a Christian home. By now I ought to know God by heart if am a dedicated servant and love him by heart. How can you be a man and a Christian since birth and someone teach you those and you don't know it's a lie. Adeboye spent over 40 years with this Christian deity you cling to yet just last week we heard him finally admit that he has still not come to a knowing of this Christian deity. Adeboye says he now believes what is written in Hebrew(and some Greek) Scripture which is that only the holy shall see God. According to the Hebrew texts, the Holy cannot tell or teach lies using the name of the God of Israel and His Son, Jesus Christ of Israel. This all means that all the while that Adeboye was busy raking in the dough using the lie that one ought to pay their way into Heaven by way of Tithe, Adeboye was in fact an unholy man by the standard that is Hebrew(some Greek of course) text.

What makes you think that you.. one of Adeboye's(or whatever other pastor's) followers... will ever arrive at this knowing when Adeboye(or your god-of-men), the one whose ideas you cling to, still hasn't?

You must either be spiritual blind or a child of the devil to quote that particular post and still be talking about leading people to reject the Gospel of Christ. You surely haven't got the slightest idea of what the Gospel of Christ is otherwise you will know this is actually the Gospel He preached while He was here on earth. It's actually those who preach these heresies that were turning many away from Christ and into Atheists and need to be rebuked.
