Stocks bought through Bamboo App doesn't seem to receive dividends.

I am yet to receive any dividend from the stocks I bought through Bamboo App.

Something hoooge is coming... Elumelu stocks are sh*aking their a$$es on a yatch cheesy cheesy.. maybe birthday present go come in early grin grin. I didn't have the audacity to average down much, but I was only able to average down from 358 to 334
In today's market I will pick UBA over Zenith and GTCO. UBA will likely give me more dividend returns in the medium to long term. I bet UBA mandatory capital raise going for +N30. It must be closer to Zenith and GTCO.

At 1.2 billion barrels in reserve, even if Oando achieves and maintains 100,000 barrels per day production, it will take roughly 33 years to exhaust it. In my opinion, it is cheap at the current price despite the latest $950 million loan (by the way, the cost of the new acquisition is $783 million; what did Oando do with the remaining $167 million?).

I read the latest publication of "Frankly Speaking" by Dele Sobowale in Vanguard, which claimed that a refinery is a bad investment for Dangote because crude oil is a dying business. That is very wrong. Even if the West manages to reduce dependence on refined fuel, they still need plastics, machine oils, and other byproducts of refineries. I also think that refined petrol and diesel are keeping plastics and other byproducts cheaper; once petrol is of no use, plastic and other products will become more expensive as they will be the main reason for the business.

On a side note, Africa will take much longer to adopt this new technology. I see Mack trucks and cars that are more than 20 years old; in fact, these make up more than 60% of vehicles on the road today. In conclusion, oil and gas refining will still be big business 30 years from now.

grin shocked shocked shocked
30 years? It's not going anywhere. It can only reduce.

Rebalancing that particular portfolio. It had 24 different stock. I want to reduce it to half.My BE for the stock was #24 naira. I started selling in batches at #70 plus to increase the quantity of the ones I want to leave behind and can easily give another 100% and above plus good dividend

Hi, good evening.

I came across this your previous post and the screenshots attached to it.

I have a question?

Does it means that it's only a "single trade by a single entity" of 100k can change the price of a stock.

How about 10 people with 10,000 unit, buy at the same price, will that also change the price?

Or does it mean when share price has 100k accumulative unit bought, then it moves up.

I wanna understand it please

I convinced myself that I have learnt my lesson o. Then boom, Aradel show up and trap me again. Lol cheesy But it wasn't as big as DS cos I only use my MMF interest & Sukuk coupon to buy it.

Aradel will pay some day. You need to be careful with newly listed companies. They often fall after listing until the market fixes their price.

I'm officially trapped in this. There must be away out.
There'll always be a way out...
Just be patient.......will only require time.
It is what it is now.
It will stabilize at some points........any good news may turn it positive anytime.
See TRANSPOWER too, many bought at high price after listing, some around 380.....think it got to 384 or so when the dumping started.
For those that wait patiently, it will erase their losses over time and move to green zone hopefully.
One of the consolation when you buy fundamentally sound stocks.

** Does it means that it's only a "single trade by a single entity" of 100k can change the price of a stock.
ANS: YES! Only single transaction of 100k or above. That's the rule.

** How about 10 people with 10,000 unit, buy at the same price, will that also change the price?
ANS: NO! It won't change the price.

** Or does it mean when share price has 100k accumulative unit bought, then it moves up.
ANS: NO! Must be single trade of 100,000 or above.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by shonyboi(m): 7:55pm On Oct 17, 2024
No I haven't and it appears to be because of this their platform migration issue. Haven't been able to trade and purchase stocks being discussed here because of this same issue

NASCON still hold my "big" money that's not so big... I was able to exit DS at 47 when my Wacc was 44 to re-enter last week at 30.80. You'd think I had learnt from NASCON experience, for where?? naim I jump enter power cheesy grin. The funny thing about TPower is I initially entered at 277 or so and exited at 360 o, anya ukwu (oju kokoro) made me re-enter only to be trapped grin grin... Na then I Kon learn lesson for real for real grin grin, dodged Aradel, C&I leasing that rallied to above 4 naira (now wey e don come down, I Kon dey find cheaper price grin), Caverton too grin grin grin

Easily about the best bank in Nigeria right now. No unnecessary charge either for SMS or transfer. Free ATM without maintenance charge. Very good network and safety measures in place.

Alternative contactless (DIY) investment channels for TB, Bond and mutual funds.

The only draw back is no enough branches.

You may need to fill stock transfer form and forward through your stockbrokers to the respective registrars.
Pretty sure he doesn't need to fill a stock transfer form or involve his broker IF all he is after is electronic payment of dividends.

The E-dividend form is what you need to fill out.

Contact the registrars of the affected stocks on your Bamboo app OR preferably download the E-dividend forms from registrars' websites, fill and forward them to the respective registrars.
