I was trying to prepare dinner about 2 hours ago, when boiling water poured on my leg. I was rushed to a nearby hospital, where I was administered first aid, and then the doctor prescribed some drugs. I have a feeling that this might be a third degree scald. Your suggestions are welcome on how to treat this.

I am a he, and not a she. I read it and I appreciate your response. It's not and old injury, it happened less than 3 hours ago. Does it require more medical attention? Cos I was prescribed medication of 19k, iodine and dressing not included.

If you aren't satisfied with this treatment maybe you should visit a better hospital but the doctor who gave you the first aid didn't see any reason for you to be more scared or consigned did he?

I don't know why they aren't uploading. I was given vitamin c (1000mg), ibuprofen (400mg), and demazin. I wasn't given tetanus injection. Yes, I'll be visiting for regular dressing. The application of iodine was wrong?

That's some serious burns, just visiting a good hospital, don't stay local else they will prescribed rubbish drugs and make you suffer. Good thing you came online and asked questions

Go and see a Consultant plastic surgeon fast in a standard hospital
