Wale and Oando must be held accountable for this! It is unacceptable and bad.
If the delay is caused by the auditors, then they must fire the auditors immediately . If they made a loss, they should just publish the loss. They are not the first company to make a loss!
Did you care to read the previous auditors comment about the going concern status?

That is the first thing I read before going through the financial.

A lot of information are in that small print, but most of us don't read it

Oga. Those people don't believe they are accountable to anyone. Will not be surprised if this starts another round of delisting fears.
That's the fears from day one na grin

OK thanks. I have been using 20% to do the maths and it has not been looking feasible for only stock portfolio
You look at total return of over 20%.

Total return is dividend yield and capital appreciation.

A N10 million portfolio at the beginning of the year which gave you a dividend of N1 million and appreciated to N12 million at the end of the years.

Has given you a total return of 30%

Once results are released, the suspension will be lifted....
If results are good, it will come back stronger, so I Blvd.
Those that rushed to buy yesterday may know something, we don't know the reason for their actions.

I suspect they made a loss for HY2024, and are finding a way to delay the results until they release the Q3 2024 results. It is too early to insinuate that the cause is about the going concern or no going concern.

Look, the suspension of trading in the shares is even protecting Oando. The NGX should have allowed the share price to crash, and let people face the reality.
Sustaining the price at N89.65 is a favour being done to Oando and they are not deserving!

I was thinking thr is a way I could make 2M from the 10M with or without the appreciation to 12 Million .Na thr I dey since all this time on the rebalancing. This is because the appreciation may be marginal at the end of the yr.Thanks I will try and work with 10% then

Whatever the case maybe they should release the result now. Haba even Dangote Sugar Refinery that has been making loss at some point did not delay in releasing their result.

I have said it and will say it again and again.

We should allow contrary opinions to thrive here, but Team Oando will always shout down people with contrary opinions even when they present verifiable facts and figures.

Because they are not Monkey Hunting.

It appears some people are paid Monkey Hunters, so that people with privilege information can easily sell at a premium.

Reason why old favourable news are being recycled

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ndept:
Much Ado about Nothing. The suspension on O and O shares is good for those inside the bus already (except for those that needs money for emergency). The share price would have plunged downward from this morning back to around N74 (Though not a good one for me, because I would have bought more units as I am having less than 100,000 units now and hope to buy close to 500,000 units at around N74).

I reiterates again, O and O may still achieve price of N130 in the next 5 months.

Above is my opinion please.

If you are not an insider you should invest based on available facts and figures not based on hope.

But if you must invest based on hope, don't have more than 20% of your fund invested based on hope

10% rental yield is not possible in Naija, unless you have held the property for 5 years and above, then rent was increased every year

The PO for Dangote Sugar was Monkey Hunting. But so many brokers praised it in the same way some praised Aradel and gave it a N1,200 valuation (NB: DS is a bigger MH than Aradel shocked) . Alhaji ripped off those that bought the Sugar IPO so don't mention because they are not Monkey Hunting. Aradel would have done the same on a lower scale than Alhaji, if not because of it's prior listing on NASD with many already in the know of the relatively bloated price.

Referring to Dangote Sugar that made a loss but released their result, compared to Oando that might have made a loss and didn't not release the result.

10 months after 2023 result is not out, 6 month 2024 is not out.

You are right about the 20%; you should not invest that much in any investment even when you think it is very good. Now, is the Oando reservoir of crude oil fake and based on hope? What is the worth of such a reservoir? What is its worth compared to debts owed? Can you answer these questions? If not, then why is your own opinion not based on hope?
