Oando will be greater than Seplat + Aradel in the coming months. The naysayers should go and look for money to buy before they regret. |

Today i finally exited my long term analogue broker---let me not mention name but it has " Trust" to her name. Transfer my shares to another company, they sent forms, i filled them, with utility bill, nin, passport, signature confirmation, etc, still they did not transfer.... My strategy-- i sold all my shares with them...nonsense and ingredients....i instructed them to even sell at market price ...cscs promply sent all the sell alert. Toh...I am waiting for T+3, hopefully my money should hit my bank account...or i escalate to SEC.... Please, post SEC address here to report them in case my money does not land on Tuesday or Wednesday. Toh Load the toad ooo.. Turbo to the moon ![]() |

gamaliel9:Had a similar problem too. Mine didn't meet recapitalization and he took my shares to a new broker. That one requested I register afresh. But, I am not interested. I have initiated my current broker to move my shares. I had filled every form on this earth and obtained banker's confirmation. Yet, am unable to get these shares transferred because of utility bill that doesn't tally with my name. I may eventually register with the new broker but will sell all my holdings and exit this particular stockbroker. |

gamaliel9:City Code Trust just won’t change na. They were my first brokers 26 years ago. No internet to check price. We will first be waiting for vendors to deliver Guardian and Vanguard newspapers from Lagos around 12 noon to see price list of the previous day to determine benchmark price to pay for stocks we wanted. Next day you will come and be told price went up so you have balance to pay or your contract note will be withheld. ![]() Kai! |

I can see we are going back to the Oando route again and we shouldn't start this Oando drama again thereby losing focus! E don do because whichever way we see it, as some people are buying, someone is selling to make that trade happen. Their objectives may be the same or totally different. I know someone who used her annual travel/vacation funds to buy Oando PLC from 2020 to 2022. The lady was called all sort of names by her analyst friends in the industry them especially when everyone was packing their funds into money market funds. She sold her Oando not too long at an average price of NGN89 per unit and keeps wondering how people tried to convince her that Oando was a bad stock that should not even be touched with a long pole. It is this same Oando that has given her profits in 8 figures? Same way people bashed TESLA and Elon in 2018 through 2021 with all those stories of bankruptcy but today many know what's up with TESLA. Na the profits from that Oando sale she don use take balance inside WAPCO, Unilever, Japaul, Zenith and UBA (she chop dividend sef for UBA side). If you go Mandilas to find grade A corporate shirts to find TM Lewin, Hawes and Curtis, Satorial, etc, youL can buy them between the spectrum of NGN3,000 to NGN12,000 per shirt depending on your negotiating prowess. However, if you feel bouyant enough, you can order from the boutiques such as Twice as N or Jumi where they sell new ones at over NGN70,000 per shirt. Someone like Alhaji will not buy his shirt from Mandilas in Lagos Island but others who look up to him will buy theirs there. Na the same brand label dem dey wear so those buying volumes of a particular stock at whatever prices shoukd know what they are doing. Na negotiating power and choice of location for purchase be the koko because every mallam get him own kettle but e no mean say I no fit buy the one wey person don discard, dry clean am wella come use am pose for office or dinner function. The decision taken to get the brand name link the HNIs be keep pace in the game of looking good, prim and sharp is what really matters. The motive behind this post is not to talk about purchasing shirts. 🙏🏽 |

Truth be told, OANDO needs to sit up, a listed company with over N 1T market capitalization should not be having these type air about defaulting in scheduled reporting around them. We are talking about a multinational, highly capitalised company in one of the most established sectors in the world. The management should start by firing the CFO and replace him with a professional who is ready for world/best-in-class standards. |
