Yes, Form A exists, but many people no longer use it due to the small margin between bank rates and black market rates.

Well the figure he put there are actually truth. It cost 45 million to 50 million to actually come to the UK assuming u are paying ur school fees n holding ur POF. 12k school fees plus 10k living expenses =22k pounds which is 48 million.

Then assuming u want to borrow funds to show ukvi for visa as most people does.. Assuming school deposit is 5000 = 11m.
visa = 1.5
Ihs 1 year = 1.7
POF percent = 2m
Flight =1m
Depending on school = deposits on enrolment =?
House rent = u won't leave on the street?

So its best to prepare well, have extra funds. Hold fund to do certification courses etc and above chose school that are considerate.

Even though "student pays school fees over there" . As you said. Are they not meant to pau before CAS is issued.

On the average most school demand for 5000 to 6000 pounds payments to give you CAS. 6k pounds is almost 14 million.

To run POF till visa is approved be ready to spend 3 million.

Yout visa and health insurance be ready to spend 3m.

Flight ticket be ready to spend 1 million plus.

House rent be ready to pay one month rent plus deposit = over 2.5m

At least you will have some money to sustain you for some time...

And i won't advise student to hope on working to pay fees. Average student earn less than 1k per month then remove rent, transportation n feeding. Probably what's left is 200 or 250 and maybe his or fees balance to is 8k how is the person going to cover that?

During the time of dependant our dependant worked and was bringing 3k per month while the maim applicant was only covering house rent.

The best thing is to tell anyone coming is to prepare very well. Have enough liquid cash. Even me that's writing this with my dependant at a point i had to borrow over 6m from Nigeria to pay my fees when school was on my head.

I don't know how fast your university issue CAS, some can be as fast as 24hrs while some take longer, if you get your CAS before first week of next month and apply for visa immediately then you are likely to get the visa by Dec if your application is straightforward

Justwise... I have decided to ignore him as he kept quoting the advice i gave.
And to make it clear. I dropped that warning at the hight when teesside and Sunderland University were withdrawing student admission and sending them back to Nigeria. I was not discouraging anyone by that statements.

I Went as the spirit lead, added every document that I felt was important from Education, Work, SOP, References and the regular mandatory doc but no CV. Paid for a VIP Biometric process at TLS but submitted every document online as I cannot entrust that on anyone but myself even if tagged professional.


IHS fee was 2.113.52 dollars for a 16months program
Visa fee was 668.75 dollars
POF costed me over 5 million to retain till decision was made.

School deposit was 6k pounds
Miscellaneous was something else.


YES, when someone says you will be needing over 40million for this process, he or she wasn’t lying. Exchange rate is on a hike now and everyone’s situation differs.

You have to be mentally and financially strong for this process.

Why do you need agent for anything to do with admission or visa application? Admission application is FREE and there are truckloads of information to help you every step of the process.
