You are dealing with lawyers.

I hope you know their is a difference between Ocean and Oil, and Oando.

While Oando is struggling Ocean and Oil is not struggling.

Always confirm that the opportunities being used to lure you into buying and holding the stock are actually for Oando and not for Ocean and Oil

Okay sir, I no wan argue with you since you work in all the multinationals.

Do you know that there are different taxes? Tax authority will just slam you nonsense charge just to extort you even when you're doing the right thing. They are like NPF. Most companies hate distraction from them so they may feel it's cheaper and stress free than going through litigation. For instance you need tax clearance to get funding of 10B through CP and one useless man said you're not compliant to extort you 5m, will you take tax regulatory to court for such when you have pending projects, knowing the time frame for court cases in Nigeria?

Enjoy your weekend

I know many multinational companies that do not settle. They defend their transactions, sue the FIRS if they come up with unreasonable assessments or they pay their obligations in full if they are convinced.

Your choice of word is what is causing the issue: you cannot just say ''any'' or ''every'' because you don't know all and you have not seen all. Just say they ones you have seen or known!

If this is true, for the company to get to the next level, then it is time for him to become the Chairman and hire a CEO that will take the company further and make Energy money for him and the other shareholders.
Wale's business has grown very big. He indeed needs all these people you are mentioning. While he sits back as Chairman. SEPLAT and Dangote have few expatriates at top positions to help pull the businesses towards good success.

That was why Sanusi insisted that all Banks should divest from other businesses.

Almost all banks has insurance, HMO, stocbroking, Finances houses, real estates etc then.

You are the one that claims to know all, that is why you used the word ''any company''!

The tax authority cannot just slam any nonsense charge on a multinational company with competent tax consultants, especially one of the Big 4 e.g. Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, KPMG etc.
That is why I asked you what type of company you are talking about.
There are many multinational companies, but all of the them are not the same.
Some that I know would rather pay millions of naira as legitimate tax, rather than settle with N300,000

Dey play!

CFO report in manner that the CEO & the board want it to be.

Any company that has so many intercompany transactions is a fraudulent company.
ENRON is a good example of a company that used so many intercompany transactions to hide it was in a deep hole.

There is a possibility of incompetent CFO. Also the CEO gra gra and bad boy ways could stud a CFO in his/her tracks. Perhaps that's why he wanted to even go private. I pray that doesn't raise its ugly head again shocked.

Monthly dividend to the best of my knowledge doesn’t happen in Nigeria except in the US.
I don't know much about NIDF. Do you think NIDF is good medium to long term buy?

The purchase of Unipetrol was an anomaly. He is one of the billionaires created by Obasanjo. Used to work with late Chief FRA William law chamber and was on the desk that handle oil and gas contracts and law.

The company which he promoted was less than 10% of Unipetrol, reason why the purchase was highly leveraged and they went on asset stripping when they took over the company.

The company was the least among those that bidded for FGN shares in the company
This money they shared. Some try do business with it. Others just hid their own offshore and didn't grow the economy. Overall the economy looks worse off angry sad shocked

Before every other companies were under the banks, but now the banks are under the Holdco. The CBN is only concern about the banks, but before the bank itself is the holdco.
