Why is Meritrade finding it difficult to create a CSCS account for me for over three weeks now? Is this a CSCS issue or Meritrade issue? They keep saying within 24 to 48 hours

Sorry to ask, but where do you take this your loot to ? I thought Banking stocks are the engine room of the market. In fact, I see Banking stocks rising higher after post- recapitalization.
My little opinion though.
Cowrywise investment portfolio(it's a fixed income mutual fund product). As at today I think the rate I'm getting is 21.99% per annum.

UBA
Closed @30.10!
Nice job by the MM cheesy
..
My bet is UBA will not fall below N30 in the short to medium term.
I still maintain my prediction (bet) that its capital raising price cannot be below N30 but will tend towards that of Zenith or even close to GTCO sef.

I just dey wait when NASCON and Transpower go release me from their prison grin grin... But a lot of lessons have been learnt in my 2 years of investing in the stock market. And the prayer is to keep learning, improving and hitting it big o. Ensuring our wins are always more than our losses... Na why I dey follow certain people post for this thread bumper to bumper grin grin

Oga Megawealth01, if my mathematics no decive me, you are talking about a unit cost of N6.00k. No wonder the name " Megawealth01" when i grow up i will like to be like you. I just take small profits and move to the next stock. The highest % in my portfolio is Oando (110%) and now is on suspension.😡
Man wey dey call himself ''megawealth'' must know what he is talking about.
That is why he always takes things easy and puts on a relaxed smile no matter what grin

Money does not like too much noise, na!

Lol just two years? Which is a bull period. You never learn anything until you complete a bull and a bear cycle 😂

you must have a lot of capital for not being greedy

RodgersAkpafu:
I have a funny way of investing 😄
When I see decent "paper profits" .I always see the need to capitalise them

The format has worked for me for years
Future cashflows can be used to enter again later

My philosophy has always been:
To average down and bring cost basis low is always better than losing unrealised gains

It sounds somehow but that's how I play
on another note i heard in another forum that if you dont have 10m+ stocks is not for you?
is that you guys philosophy too?

Did you consider their charges before choosing them.choose wisely now to save money.

Cardinal stone 1.44% all charges
Stanbic 1.13%
Atlas portfolio arnd 0.85%
Investment one 1.8%
Meristem 1.8%

The first 2 are the top brokers in Nigeria and where I am heading to.....
Fundings and withdrawals are as simple as Abc

Investment one has a good platform.Funding and withdrawals are very simple but their charges are high 1.8% buy and 2.1% sell.

I share your view too. It is a big time player that can move in an out of stocks at will. If the quantity you are moving is not large, you probably be working for the stockbroking house as he will be smiling home with lots of commission.

Your two years in the market is a quality one. I had read from you and I never knew you were this young in the market. The sky remains your starting point. I still wish you a happy marriage preparation 😁

I don't know what your definition of "lots of capital is"
But let's just say that if I get a 10% haircut, the tears go surplus lol grin grin

Let's leave it at that

however, to answer ur second question...
The most important step in a journey is when you start.
One has to start from somewhere to get there....
The market is for everyone

if you are up 30%
or 50%
Commissions would nibble into too much of your profit

Is returns on investment not measured in percentage?
The stock market is for every single person who is ready to put in the work and ready to learn and not about the size of investment.
