My friend just got CAS rejection from Sunderland because of previous tourist visa refusal on the grounds of credibility. He is now going for university of Salford and doesn’t know how they treat previous visa refusal.

Heard some schools are now asking people to return back if they cant pay balance on enrollment

Special adviser.. Someone was asked to return back last month because the school refused him to register cos he needs to pay a fee via enrolment.

Please I am about to apply for a uk students visa and my pof is in my spouse account. Do I need to submit any other documents concerning the proof of fund.
Note we are both applying at the same time.

Pls I have COS as a care assistant in the uk, since the law does not permit dependant on my own visa (my husband and kids are here on student visa but we do not qualify for post study). My husband has a job in Nigeria, so he is ok to go back to Nigeria for a while and can be on a visitor visa, but how can my kids stay here with me in the uk please, any help will be well appreciated 🙏🏽

I was asked to show documentations of everything I did since graduation, I submitted today being friday Nov 2, But I made a mistake on my bank statement (this is different from POF) this is a bank statement for payslip for some months I was paid, I submitted all the months and highlighted them, but I forgot to add the first and last page of the statement, the bank statement was signed and stamped at the branch.

My question is - should I submit the same bank statement again to the same email address but correct my error?

Thank you. He calculated about 10k USD as 10k Naira which is equivalent to 4 pounds instead of 7,500 Gbp. That was the only issue raised.

Yes you can, but you need to be smart. It depends on the school,the city and how long it takes you to get a job, but you must work multiple jobs,get a shared accomodation and still share again so that you dont pay more 200 pounds in rent monthly in a city where rent is not above 400 pounds a month

From your enquiry below, these are my assumptions

you are either on a Masters by Research or PHD programme or you are a government sponsored student?
you are applying with your spouse because of the above?
you are both applying for independent Masters Programmes and are using the same account for POF?

If any of these are correct, alongside a fully compliant POF , you should add a letter of authorization from your spouse which grants you permission to utilize the funds in the account for visa purposes. This is taking for granted that you are also including documentation to prove this relationship.

Try Anglia Ruskin University. They will give you CAS even if you have previous visa denial, I know someone that has 4 previous denials and was given CAS last week... Cheers

If you decide to hide this information about your previous denials and they eventually find out, you tuition deposit money is gone ( otilor). So consider the risks and ask yourself if it is worth the trial.

Just to be clear, your worry is that the first page and the last page of your bank statement contain the physical signature and bank stamp which you didn't include? there is no salary information to be noted on these pages right?

If yes, this shouldn't be a worry, if all the other pages were printed on the bank's identifiable stationary, has the bank logo, your name , account number and transaction history, transaction dates etc and you have highlighted clearly the salary portions to be noted as part of your evidence it should be fine.

Yes you can use a combination of currencies.

The OANDA rate on the date you submit your visa application would be used to check if you have the required equivalent on all currencies and have met the financial evidence

They have stated their stand on visa denial, why would want to gamble your deposit? Once they find out, your money is gone.

I guess you meant, Msc Psychology (conversion)

There are so many of them, just make sure their Msc Psychology (conversion) webpage, has it written that the course is accredited by the British Psychological Society, so that upon completion of the course, you will also be granted the Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and become eligible to work as an Assistant Psychologist in the UK.

By the way, what did you study for your undergraduate degree.?
