If your are in Oando put your vehicle to lower gear because there will be a slow down to 50KM or 45KM.
Dem don come oooooo grin

People just don't want to accept the notion that something abnormal happened to the pricing of Aradel at the NASD, and that is now being corrected at the NGX. People have been convinced that Aradel will catch the price of Seplat overnight.
They forgot how many years it took Seplat, plus their dual listing and low OS, to get where it is.
That is the first time a stock was listed by introduction and retail investors had the opportunity of selling their stocks.

Check out when Mecure, Geregu and Transcorp Power were listed the shares were not available for about 2 weeks

Exit of notable shareholders who wanted to exit also contributed, that was even one of major reason why it was listed on NGX.

I don't really know much about Aradel. I'm yet to trade the stock, but when the dust settles. I will invest in it heavily for a long term.

emmanuelewumi:
Aradel will come down to N250.

The post stock split price for the guy selling is N25, has recoup his investment through dividends in less than 4 years.

Became a shareholder in 2018.

If he sells at N250 his compounded annualized return is over 60% from 2018 till date

Are they still selling on the floor after the initial sales to "provide liquidity"? They would have reported directors dealings by now, or is there no deadline for reporting?
The company should give an update before the end of the week

I rather prefer selling at loss and wait rather than all these average down wahala, most time is like digging the grave deeper grin

That is one the anomalies I have in mind.

Doubt if you are selling at loss?

What is your average cost price

You only average down a stock that is doing well fundamentally but the price is falling.

I averaged down Presco, my average cost is less than N180 even with the purchases I made last week at between N450 and N455

Irresponsible from SEC and NGX

Pa Emma: This looks like averaging up a stock with good fundamentals, to increase volume owned.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by phadriz(m): 1:22pm On Nov 05, 2024
You are not getting my point. For instance, if I'm in Aradel I would have sold @ N500 max instead of further average down by bring fresh capital into a falling stock. I will rather leave the stock for the dust to settle instead of buying when I'm seeing daily 10% loss.

It was averaging down that reduced my cost price to N178.

I got some dividends last week and decided to top up my Presco holding, bought in 3 tranches

A well upbeat Q3 Result should now be rushed into the market. This to help stem the price meltdown and support it for the capital raise which analysts Emma and Bovali said must happen urgently.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Payunsin: 1:44pm On Nov 05, 2024
Oando offer is not building up, that's a good sign.

Although I no too like the core investor, but Conoil never missed dividend payment from 2002 to date, even though it will be paid in October or November which is 10 to 11 months after their business year.

Some of us have watch how the stock grew from N20 to the current price at a time when the other stock was selling at two and half to three times the market price of Conoil.

There's a strong support at 70.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by phadriz(m): 1:50pm On Nov 05, 2024
May be, but I doubt because the volumes on offer are big figures, I suspect they are people that bought at 15 to 20 naira, so selling at N50 won't be a problem for them.

So there is improvement from Q3?

There's a strong support at 70.
There were earlier reports in the media (e.g. Nairametrics) that Oando made a loss of N282b for HY2024.
This may be one of the reasons behind some of the reactions in the market
They have just done a correction now after their attention was called to the error.
