Okay, I was wrong then about 2023.

But so far in 2024, they're yet to show any proof that the kernel still remains in the shell.
And, even after regulatory suspension, they've still remained unrepentant unlike Oando that quickly acted to redeem their name.

As for the bolded, I wish us all success.

I happen to be a shellholder of some stocks myself, a Gambler, a jijoist, trader and investor. Sometimes I hammer, sometimes burnt fingers.

What is chilling about 0.40k dividend when it's contemporaries are doing above 0.80k and #1?
U don't get it.
For each of my 7 digit FBNH shares,
I actually got a dividend of N2.40k.
D 40k(from FBNH) plus the N2 interim UBA.
When I sold the FBNH shares(in reaction to FBNH poor dividend), UBA was even cheaper. So got more UBA shares investing every kobo from the sale of my FBNH shares.
Waited till after FBNH dividend qualification date b4 selling my FBNH shares

Bear wey bull don tie rope to slaughter for Xmas.

Better put your money in the market Monday/Tuesday.

Its a time for 10 10% for days/weeks.

Many will chase a moving train and will not succeed to enter.

It will be very funny if any Nsempa member misses this bull because of analysis paralysis.

You will never forgive yourself.

I hope you will forgive yourself when these stocks turn to green in few days?

It's a time to watch and not sell.
A time to look for above 20/30%.
A time to recover some hair cuts

Yes o.
No more emotions for me.
After 2 results, if nothing tangible I move.
I see my investment as sending my money to work for me.

I wonder why it's not yet operational. So assuming Sec have approved the merger, was this how there will be radio silence about it.

Why is UBA selling rights at 35naira when the price of the share on the stock exchange is #33.45? Doesn't Make sense

Well, to my own little understanding, I feel they want the cabal holding onto the shares to increase their stakes. Remember, no public offering was announced yet. But, they fail to understand that I can equally buy from the secondary market and get any quantity I desire. For the right issues to be successful, the secondary market ought to be higher in price. Let's see if the secondary market price can be sustained. cool

I think it may be deliberate. It's for the big boys to take up the Rights and increase their stakes.
Minority shareholders will also sell the right to their Rights.
The big boys will mop up dat and then also take those Rights.
Access did a similar thing(the Rights price was higher than the price on the floor) and it was hugely successful.

Akpaamunsi:

Because the management has insider knowledge of the organisation and the current market price doesn’t reflect the true value

Literally any stock trading under N50 on NSE and pays an interim dividend of N2 is undervalued. Therefore, UBA will re rate accordingly with time

I reckon the price will surpass N35 before the closing date of the rights issue on December 24th

I think it's better to buy the quantity of my rights on the secondary market which gives me instant allocation.

You should have bought when the Rights issue price was announced or latest on Friday, it may gap up and open above N35 on Monday

If the UBA believe they are far worth more than ₦35/share, then they are mostly right.

I see UBA trading above ₦35 before the end of December 2024.

I might have to buy some units to add to my portfolio on Monday for long term.

While UBA is certainly cheap compared to its historical valuations, it is not amongst the cheapest banks.

If you want to enter banking stocks you might want to look at Zenith and GTCO
