| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 10:28am On Nov 18, 2024 |
It is based on this statement I do have reservations on TA.I truly see it based on what I read here as gamble if you can pull enough crowd .what you projected will favour your call. That is not really my concern in your post as per TA i want to know what insight you have in this time and season you feel can give investors better results as times has changed for us |

They too also have a stake in Aradel and made huge gains on the stocks rally. Althought it’s a one off, I think that’s what’s driving the share price megawealth01: |

I’ve already made my stance clear in my previous posts—feel free to check them. Someone here attempted to redefine the concept of the present value of future cash flows, claiming it to be the "Buffett way." However, they couldn’t provide any credible references to support their assertions. Even if Buffett used such shortcuts, it would still be incorrect and no different from gambling—it might work or it might not. I also highlighted the significant devaluation of our naira and mentioned that selling at a loss is sometimes acceptable. It’s better to free up your capital for more productive opportunities than to tie it down unnecessarily. Plus, I predicted the current surge in revenues that many companies are reporting. It’s not surprising—when the cost of goods rises, so does revenue. I’ve made several other points, though I may not recall all of them now. So, what exactly is your question? |

Locotrader:Oga Loco good morning sir. What's your opinion about veritaskap? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 11:08am On Nov 18, 2024 |
Ginalex:The attention for it has been diverted to prestige.Watch prestige rising closer to veritas kapital current price before you can see a serious move from it. Veritas remains a good stock to watch but check where attention is shifted first..... |

A sheep calling someone sheep, I bought flourmill when he was shouting that the margin are low because he did not understand the company, I looked into the company because he was shouting and complaining that the company was badly managed, I bought it at 35plus this years, the price later deep to less than 30 and he was giving series of excuses why he was correct with his analysis...what is happening today to the same flourmill in the Same year? My point is, because a company numbers does not suit your standards doesn't make it a bad investment to everyone. Stop acting as if you know it all. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by crownprince2017: 11:22am On Nov 18, 2024 |
We invest for different reasons. One of your sheep, street badmouthed flourmill this same year but look at the reality now.. When he badmouthed it, can we say fmn was a bad investment? I know many of us know what we are doing in this market and it sounds somehow to us seeing someone displaying ignorance in the name of knowledge here...we would never take it. |

crownprince2017:FLOURMILL wasn't a bad investment... If not for the FX losses incurred by most of these FCMGs, it's shouldn't have been trading below N100.....then, the exit news again... It's in the league of Buafoods if not more than self. That's just my layman's view of it. |

@megawealth Thanks, I was looking for successful stock traders that created wealth like Buffet and the wealth can be transferred to the next generation. The list is famous traders who made lots of money and some lost it while most are not purely stock traders Copied from the link you shared Who Is the Richest Day Trader in the World? We may never know who the most successful day trader is or was because many prefer to remain anonymous. But according to Money, Inc., the title of "richest day trader in the world" could be bestowed upon Bill Lipschutz, a bond trader at Salomon Bros. in the 1980s and 1990s. 14 Who Is the Greatest Investor of All Time? Investors buy and hold for longer-term growth rather than trade in and out every day. Warren Buffett is often cited as the most successful investor of all time through his holding company, Berkshire Hathaway. megawealth01: |

megawealth01:Warren Buffett A long-term investor who made his fortune by buying undervalued stocks and companies, and holding onto them for decades. He's a proponent of index funds, and has advised investors to move their money into low-cost index funds. David Tepper Founded Appaloosa Management, a hedge fund that specializes in distressed debt. Tepper played a major role in Goldman Sachs's survival after the 1987 stock market crash. George Soros Known as the "Man Who Broke the Bank of England", Soros is an iconic figure in the world of forex trading. He developed the "reflexivity theory", which states that future price forecasts are based on psychological factors in addition to economic and political changes. Jesse Livermore An American trader who was known for both huge gains and losses in the market. Richard Dennis A Chicago-based commodities trader who reportedly made a fortune of $200 million over ten years. John Paulson A trader who made billions of dollars in 2007. |
