Just been looking at my updated portfolio and been smiling since. Please who sells house in Ikoyi? grin. Oando alone gave me 300m+ which i have sold and put in fixed income. Will be using the interest to follow loco in his Jijo till I find any better fundamentals. Christmas will be good this year.
Stop lying. You know you didn’t make 300 million from Oando. You’re not even a woman. Just like you flaunted the portfolio, you would have shown us proof of this 300-million 'loot.' I challenge you to show us your legs—if they aren’t as hairy as a goat’s. shocked shocked shocked

Maybe you made 40 or 50 million like everyone else, but definitely not 300 million. And as for that other person who gets high on cow dung [IamS...], I’m warning you—mind your own business.

At N400 GTB will have a PE of 10. That's not crazy given it's historical valuations and current growth rate.

This economy will normalize eventually, either that or we end up in a civil war.
When last did you experience PE of 4 in Nigerian banks?

These crazy returns in the market, especially the crypto market is taking the semblance of currency debasement (esp of the USD)

These returns are not making any sense anymore
Will it pop like the dot com bubble?
or will this be the new normal?
Its left to see

FBN Holdings Shareholders Approve Change of Name, 2023 Dividend

FBN Holdings shareholders have approved a N14.358 billion total distributable dividend for financial year 2023 at the annual general meeting last week, the group said in a regulatory filing on the Nigerian Exchange.

Details from resolutions passed at the annual shareholders meeting stated that shareholders will be paid 40 kobo per share as dividend for the financial year 2023. FBN Holdings Plc told the exchange its shareholders also approved a proposal to change its legal and brand names.

The financial services group has earlier hinted about the plan to change its legal and brand names from FBN Holdings and FBNHoldings to First Holdco Plc and FirstHoldco.

The group fixed director remuneration at N50 million and N63.700 million for chairman. Shareholders also approved N350 billion capital raise for the group to meet the new capital base demand by the central bank.

The group revealed that the capital raise can be implemented by public offers, rights issues, and private placements in local or international debt market at a price determined by bookbuilding or any other valuation methods.

The capital raise plan remains subject to regulatory approval, the statement revealed. The share price of Ticker: FBNH has climbed by 54 basis points during early trading hours on Monday to N27.75

I think it's just Trump/Musk effect.
Much like how NGX rallied from May 2023 cuz of Tinubu effect.
Trump is strongly Pro-USA and anti-immigrants, hence probably weaker USD perception from rest of the world (maybe)
Musk once had a Cryto product..bullish run

There will be correction as life and policy challenges unfold.

but I don't think it will go back to status quo. I dont think it's a dot com bubble scenario.

#Observation

Most FA investors advised people to sell banks stocks 2months ago when price was low because of dilution from recapitalisation. And buy back at Q1 2025 when it will become cheaper.

Same people are encouraging people to buy now that price is high. Now, I am wondering, does the dilution not matter anymore?
I no follow for that group. I had always said the dilution will have little difference because the banks will generate more profits from the fund raised.Though you are right that some ogas here said wait till after dilution

I want to open a new stockbroking account kindly recomend a reputable broker.

I prefer a broker with the following:
1. A versatile online access with trading, deposit, withdrawal features.
2. Margin facilities
3. Loan facilities.
4. Advisory, recomendations, research, histpric and current data services.
5. Good customer Service.

I will appreciate your response please.
3 firms are qualified for what you are looking for 💯 .
Instant funding and withdrawals without any notifications or request has helped me to trade any time/moment with them.

1. Cardinalstone securities:Fees 1.45% buy and sell 1.8%

2.Investment one: 1.8% buy and sell 2.1%

3.Afrinvest: 1.8% buy and 2.1% sell.

Another one is Stanbic Ibtc but their app which has those features is undergoing reconstruction at the moment.
Their web portal is good but not seamless deposit/ withdrawal.Their buy 1.13% and sell 1.45%

Choice is yours.
