He should have just kept his companies private sad

Youngzedd:
The combined firm, called BUA Cement Plc, trades on the Nigerian stock exchange; Rabiu owns 98.2% of it. He also owns 95% of publicly traded food conglomerate BUA Foods.

Prestige outstanding shares is 13.3B
Veritas is 13.9B.

Prestige profit after Tax 2.4B for Q3
Veritas is 2.8B for Q3.

I want to know how EPS is calculated.

Even outside this,I bet prestige to surpass veritas in everything going forward unless veritas Q4 result and their market makers uphold strength
EPS = (Net Income - Preferred Dividends) / Total Number of Outstanding Shares

EPS= 2.4B - Dividend paid out/ 13.2B

Based on the results you posted. The eps does not add up.I know I glanced at thr results when it came out and prestige was looking good after varitas. Then guinea was equally ok down. This ones you mentioned above discarded them on os and some eps.i picked sanu for os from reconstruction which boosted eps.Its strong presence outside naija too.Cornerstone was another I saw good below #2 then
I didn't mention sunu, consolidated Hallmark, cornerstone,Aiico, wapic. All these are candiates of 100% in a strong bull but i bet prestge to reach 100% before them

The bolded is capital truith

Is this possible? huh

There is a free float requirement for listed companies which is think is well above 3%
Sunrisepebble:
I thought it was 20%
Raider76:
Ask SEC/NGX
NGX says on free float:
20% Minimum OS OR
₦20bn of Minimum OS Value.

BUA Cement & BUA food fulfilled the second option.

when I saw sanu at 1.20 and prestige at .50/52 .I knew they will do 100%.At this presen 70kobo for prestige I expect it to move to #1 first since sanu has already achieved 100%.V had already touched #1.60 this yr.It will still push towards that too.
I missed sanu before October at 1.20 for my 1m challenge. That would have been achieved in such a short time.Maybe I for no even still sell at the target met..,lol

Thanks bro. Thinking of putting in 400k monthly though. Hopefully it’s a good start.

The second option na wayo because you can easily achieve it when you manipulate the price of the stock very high. The should have sticked to the first option

I was fast to sell sunu at just 20% and I regretted it.

I got this prestige at 55kobo and renewed interest at 64kobo.I know it's 100% candidiate if not before Xmas.

This Guinea will also spring surprises as am seeing it.

Guinea will still do 100 % likely first quarter 2025

It's obvious.
In 2008,I bought some insurance companies like staco,GNI,Niger etc at #1 plus each and sold after making 100%.In my eyes almost all did 500%.

I am trying to be careful and to resist temptation this time so I can make it at once.something tells me Custodian,Nem and mansard will touch #20 and these kobo stocks will touch #2 or above.

Any insurance stock sold now will be repurchased higher in the coming days.

I never forgiven myself since I sold sunu and Consolidated Hallmark.

These 2 I have now,I will see to the end if there is no global crises or meltdown

The fear I have in 2025 is these public offers that will lead to dilution by the banks.

While I believe in a long bull which will send prices of banks to a very high one,I still dulge banks and embrace insurance instead.

Insurance stocks will be played by 70% of market operators than banks when the time comes.

We have to enjoy now and still open our eyes watching the banks because Anti Christ is coming from that sector in the mid 2025.

I don't see the dilution in bank as big thing in some bank because of the ratio.like uba 1 for 5 etc.
What was the capital base approved by cbn with the existing Os. Then you look at the amount this additional os is bringing to table compared what existed
The only problem is if any particular bank decides not to put this fund into proper use and it ends up as bad loans like in the past.Thr are good sectors in naija still looking for good funding that will yeild good profits from this new fund mostly now they are all turning to holdco.
Look at the heavy opportunities in power, oil and gas and other infrastructure like housing.
I would have been worried if the dilution was 100% or 50%

If you are trading with large funds, stay away from Bamboo App.

You can place orders in Bamboo app and the orders won't be fulfilled or executed for several days and the money used for the order will not be refunded to your wallet.

The funny thing is that if you don't manually review all your past orders, you might never notice these unfulfilled orders.

They will abandon your orders and debit your wallet... Even when you notice it, they will tell you to wait for 3days and even after the 3days the transaction still won't be resolved.

I have had several of this hidden failed orders all over Bamboo some are even still there unresolved after 4days and the stock I wanted to buy has even grow past the suitable entry price and the money is yet to be reversed back to my wallet.

Stay away from Bamboo App, I am speaking from experience.

I am gradually moving out of Bamboo App.

Please I need help here.😰 I'm new to this stock investment stuff but earlier this year in the month of March, I bought 2345 units of Transcorp shares at different prices though.
First time I bought 20 units @14.44
Second time I bought 15 units @14.45
Third time I bought 200 units @13.95
Fourth time I bought 170 units @13.75
Fifth time I bought 2000 units @17.34
And then I bought the last time 30 units @15.75
Please don't judge my trading method, I'm still trying to understand this stock trading and how it works.
The problem I have now is that I came back to my shares in october and found Transcorp share price at 45.75 and I discovered my shares unit was remaining 609. All the way from 2435 units that I bought altogether. I didn't sell anything from it all this while.
Please can someone explain to me what happened to the rest of the unit and how I can avoid making same mistake again if actually the problem is from my end.

Please help a sister.😫

Hello 👋

Your investment is still intact and you didn't make any mistake.

Transnational Corporation (TRANSCORP) carried out what is called a share reconstruction.
Every 4units held was reduced to 1unit while the SP was multiplied by 4. Your initial holding of 2435 became 609 (2435 ÷4)

I hope this clears the problem wink

What you can do is open a new brokerage account that is more........ traditional
Then move future inflows there

Leave the Bamboo static
Just a suggestion
Or GRADUALLY dial down
But I'm still leaning towards static

Move future funds and investments to the new brokerage and build it up for more freedom
most of us here who have been in this game for a bit use multiple brokers
Even me have bamboo lol
plus my others
