Moralist have every right to condemn such behavior, your happiness shouldn't be detrimental to other people's peace of mind and decorum. Moralists tend to uphold what is right in every environment, if the young man has blasted his music in a pub or club I'm sure no one would have cared, blasting music in a banking hall is too absurd.
