2.5M, if it's Naira, should be used to pick only 1 stock......Max 2, depending on the type of stock to pick.

Who is and why the dumping?
At this rate taking up the rights is unattractive.
That might likely be their goal.
Just like in UBA.
The rights may have already been reserved for the ''RIGHT'' few known to them.

Average exchange rate of 160= N80,000. WoW. Honestly the future belongs to the risk takers. There is a post I ran across on twitter over the weekend, it was an individual who bought $30 worth of bitcoin every single day for the last 7-8 years. It came at a cost of $80k dollars but his portfolio is now worth $1m+

Excessive interest rate is simply a ponzi that helps no government / economy.

I think in economics there needs to be a cap on interest rate beyond which it self destructs the economy. I think anything above 20% is in the destructive range for monetary policy . Ideally it shouldn’t exceed single digit. Once 9% is reached other restrictive policies are needed. But current CBN governor calls that unorthodox policeshuh
The inflation rate is a key factor that affects interest rate.
Currently, I think inflation rate is higher than interest rate, so the citizens are still ''subsidizing'' the govt. so to speak.
Interest rate will continue to rise for as long as the rate of inflation is still higher.

N5 billion already changed hands today and the price has been dragged down to N25. Making taking the rights no more attractive / possible for sell to take.

The offer on the floor is also so large despite the high volume already traded. What’s happening huh
It's probably game

Thanks a lot .. Is Dangote still a good buy, looks stagnant for a while.

If you are to distribute 2.5m amongst them.. What would you suggest. I am sorry for my plenty questions
Take high risk with 25%
Sure up low risk with 50%
Try moderate risk 25%

Come back and rebalance portfolio after 1 year or 6months

I read an article that concludes excessive interest rate in two digits is a scam. And I agree with the thinking. Perhaps soon a bold economist will postulate the max range for effective monetary policy rate. Beyond which other controls will be needed. Excessive inflation is often associated with excessive government creation of money from thin air for government to spend instead of cutting expenses to income. Thereby robbing those that have saved money in that currency.

Uncle Tolu compliment sir. smiley

Let's look at it this way:
How many units of say MTNN @171 do you think N2.5m can pick?
That should be around 14k units if buying charges is excluded....
So, the volume is not much.......reason I said, it depends on the stocks to pick.
Also depends on the type of investment he wants to make out of it........either long, medium or short term.

As at the time I sent that post, volume was already close to 3x the daily average. Also, a lot of government activities to encourage players in that sector in recent weeks.

The funny thing is I was first introduced to it back in 2014. I had scholarship money then and I just imagined what would have been if I plugged 70% of my total scholarship inflow into that programme.😂😂
Innocent me.
Other self development you have, you wouldn't have had it.
Unless you were naturally disciplined.
Youthful exuberance would have taken over.
You for even quit school😁.
Theres usually an unwritten or unseen trade-off with nature to these assumptions.

I think its easily possible for non-african based.
I won't think he/she is based in Nigeria.

But for a Nigerian-based, it looks easy on paper.
That amount of money within those years might be directly proportional to one's
BP level considering:
The FG clamp down, wallet hacks, limited-to-no Naira options in some wallets and exchanges, etc.

And if it's a Nigerian in Nigeria, he/she must really have the faith & grace to achieve such feat without BP pills.💪
