Omooloriredade:Could Aradel drop today be related to an entity dropping Aradel to enter Oando. Maybe unrelated. |

Omooloriredade:Quite insightful, thanks. Does the closure of register affect any of the resolutions? Or would it be the resolution date of 17/12 for qualification?

bovali:Looks more like this closure of register is only to determine who is eligible to attend the AGM and vote. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bizibi(m): 12:09pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
This is not related to stock but I really want to know if companies in oil and gas sector exports natural gas in Nigeria. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 12:12pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Bizibi:Nigeria exports natural gas as LNG from Bonny NLNG that is supplied natural gas by many companies of which Oando is a supplier |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 12:13pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Seplat want to go into LNG for exports with the Mobil assets but all their gas sales are currently to domestic customers. I think same applies to Aradel Bizibi: |

BabsO2:is there any other company apart from oando ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Omooloriredade: 12:16pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
bovali:The 27/11 to 29/11 closure does not affect the special resolution regarding the distribution of shares. Register will be reopened after 29/11. It may because the company needs to send out notices, proxy forms etc. However, if you are interested in the share distribution, then you gotta be a shareholder on the day the resolution is passed which is the AGM day (assuming shareholders vote in favour of the deal). Also note that shareholders will not be alloted the shares on this date. It may well be months after so it won't matter if you sold after this date (same way dividends are administered).

Locotrader:Ok. Thanks for the info. Will be on the lookout. It's here we're talking about all these now, when e dey happen, they'll start asking if it's good to buy. * Any risk taker should just have Japaul and OANDO in his/her portfolio for now, even if it's small quantities or with the amount you can risk** |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 12:45pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
400 or below would be good but hard to predict if it would dip to that level. So, gradual acquisition may be the game to play. bastardson: |

Omooloriredade:But Oando own all these related parties either directly or indirectly. In most (if not all) the companies Oando own 100% so what debt is being settled with shares? are these so called debt not suppose to be intercompany which is in and out and of no effect upon consolidation Ojt don come with mago mago again ![]() ![]() |

bovali:If the Oando resolutions are passed on Dec 17, they would only apply to members whose names appear in the register as at commencement of business on 27 Nov 2024, (which is co-terminus with close of business on date of the publication 26 Nov 2024). This effectively ensures that the publication does not have any serious or prolonged effect on price movement on the floor. |

The effective date is the date of "the passing of this resolution" and not the date of the publication of its proposal. mikeapollo:

GeeKudi:Okay, thanks. So what is the effect of the closure of register of members from Nov 27 to Nov 29? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 1:40pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
robobo:Maybe not mago mago but giving something back to long suffering shareholders. As he cannot deliver dividends right now he wants to share some other guddies perhaps |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by MadmaxX489: 1:53pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Omooloriredade:The receivable is the power plant which Oando share of ownership has a carrying value of 193billion and they are due to receive a buyout in 2025, hence the timing for this resolution. It has nothing to do with NNPC. |
