But he just said the truth.

I doubt if there is anyone putting money in OANDO at the moment who is not aware of the financial situation of the company. People see opportunities for short term capital appreciation in the stock and they are playing the game.

All of the long epistles here count for little for what investors are doing with OANDO's shares at the present time.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo:
On a second thought, some scenarios came up in my mind about Oando's proposed financial restructuring:

Let us consider these two theoretical scenarios/options:

Option 1:
Write off the related party receivables to bad debts in the P/L and report huge losses for the year.
This would lead to a huge drop in price of the shares. With the huge losses, no dividend nor bonus can be paid to shareholders.

Option 2: this is what some of us think Oando is trying to do:
Convert and reclassify the related party receivables to investments in related parties (after receiving their shares). This would avoid writing off the receivables to bad debts, thereby preserving potential profits in the P/L. This could boost the company's chances of posting net profits for the year coupled with positive reactions in the stocks market. Shareholders would also benefit in future when the shares are distributed pro-rata.

The choice is for shareholders to decide

If I say I'm not confused about the SUNU's continuous rise, I lie. Surely, it doesn't have the best of results in the sector. So what is the koko?

Congratulations to those holding it o. No be bad belle o.

I think we should follow the money, that is how some of us missed the opportunity from below #10. Oando is not a fundamental stock, we are aware but we can still make money. My opinion is invest what you can loose.

Mercy, you are doing great jobs and all our Oga here.

Not a recommendation to buy Oando

Pa Emma, you yourself stated that we can make money from stocks without fundamentals, when you used the state of matter metaphor. I dont think anyone buying Oando is looking for fundamentals.

SUNU surprised me too...
Didn't know it could move that far.....😊

I think VERITASKAP should be able to perform well too....
I even expected it to have gone to settle around N2 instead of the pullback.....
May still stage a comeback possibly.

Chams on experiment

1.Bid more units at #2 for the vendor and see if he will pick up.If he rejects selling then

2. Bid for more units at 2.15 and see if the vendor will prefer supply at #2.

These 2 aspects will help at this time.

Or activate watching mode on chams for now.

You're still talking of delisting?

OANDO wants to delist and they are talking about bonus issue for shareholders?
How much would they be ready to pay should they continue with the idea?

Delisting is dead as far as facts are concerned.
