What actually happened was that iformatted the memory card hoping to place songs on it but unfortunately ithink the map whatever was on it..

And without that map the radio can't function

The problem now is how to download the map back

You must have deleted the configuration file(s) when you formatted the memory card.

The solution is simple:
Just get someone with the same model/stereo of your vehicle to copy the configuration file(s) to your memory card.
