Omooloriredade:
You sure you read the report? Interesting!

The goal of my post is not to confuse or convince you to buy Ellah Lakes. I'm drawn to point out a few things so you have a better understanding when looking at reports like this. In fact, I encourage you to not touch Ellah Lakes with a long pole. It may not be good for your portfolio or health. They are still haemorrhaging. Pretty sure you are smart enough to know this anyway.

* Sitting on N3.9B in retained losses.
* N260M loss in the October quarter alone
* Possibly on track to reach N1B by year end. Well, change in financial year end to December in play here so may be restated.........huh Let's leave it here.
* Private placement to raise capital is still ongoing. For how many months na? O gi ni?

So instead of CNTRL+F to find "PIGS" in the report, maybe try "biological assets"?

Permit me to provide a summary of the farm related items of interest to you. No photo o so e fit still be scam or audio. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Plantation value as of 31st October
* Palm - N594M (A N109M addition in the October quarter)
* Others - N80.5M

Livestock value as of 31st October
* Pigs - N51.2M (Wait! What! It's in there? shocked shocked . Not really. They didn't quite mention PIGS)
A N31.8M increase in the Oct quarter.

Plant and PEN construction as of 31st October (You may need to look up the meaning of the bolded. Please let me know what you find)
*N256.5M (A N48.5M addition in the October quarter)
* Safe to assume CPO mill construction is included in "Plant".

Hey! If you are free on Thursday say about 11am, while not jump on the Zoom link that will be shared by company for their AGM. It will be live streamed. I hope shareholders that receive this link will be kind enough to share it here. At the very least, it could provide some comic relief for you? The scam shouting fit go next level after the meeting sef. cheesy

Disclaimer - Not a buy or sell recommendation. Ellah fit be just lake o as we no see any photo. DYOR.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 11:25am On Dec 05, 2024
Not necessarily because of the pending acquisition, the new owners will prefer to preserve cash. The dividend yield also won't be great considering where the price is now. Looking at cardinal stones report they forecast N3.47 divided per share based on an EPS of 5.81with a 60% payout ratio which was consistent in previous years. However If we're being conservative, using an annualised EPS of 4.97 based on 9M results and a payout ratio of 50%, that gives us N2.50 per share

Did you know
Oando supposed to raise # Three trillion to fund their projected 2024 budget,
# One trillion as bonds by June 2024 but maybe the devaluation of the # made them to pause. They even engage consultant for their rating score. *Also use private offer from major shareholders for # Two trillion not sure if they include right/public* and *Shares for payment to vendors*

If at the end of Q1 2025, the price of 1 unit of WAPCO is to be 100. Then the present value (using a 25% interest rate on borrowed money) should be 94.6 naira. At cp of 75, the stock is trading at a discount of 20%.

Not taking dividends into consideration. Only concern is if the buyers are not buying out minority shareholders.

They aren't serious. Since 11 am they've been giving the excuse of technical issues. Those bored of waiting are even having discussions on the side. This is highly unprofessional!

PS: This is not a buy or sell advice wink

jadyclem:
Abeg any chairman in the house using investment one app to buy stock, can you please direct me on how to go past "the opt-in" wait period when buying stock there for the first time?

My account has been verified and everything is okay with the account. I've seen messages to the investment one customer support regarding the issue but they yet to respond for over 2 weeks now.

Please, what can I do to purchase stocks on the investment one app without it telling me to opt-in everything and declining the trade?
@emmasoft I don't know your position in Investment One but I commend your effort in trying to resolve customer issues raised on this platform. BUT I have a question still: Is the email account not monitored? I wonder why a customer's enquiry will go unanswered for weeks. Actually, it's a rhetoric question. One of those little things that are often overlooked by organisations or people in business.

It is because this is December.
Many abroadians are gradually coming home with dollars.
Naira always strengthen against dollars historically from November to early January then naira slide continues again.
Dollars is flooding the economy now

The supply is coming from one house which I have discovered.

I believe it's one person/firm though.

He has failed to supply at below #2.

The sells you are seeing at 1.99/1.99 is not from the vendor but retail investors like me and you.

I am still navigating to find out who the seller is

Ellah Lakes AGM be like town hall meeting of 1982

Audio is better now though.

They would have made it video instead of audio.

Questions are coming, they have to explain the money they used in flexing grin

Keep buying.
The huge sells you are seeing is not to create fear on the stock.
Otherwise by now the stock would have reach 1.50.

You can't be wrong buying at 1.98/99 since the person has failed to supply at below #2.

I am expecting #3 dividend based on #2 last Yr.The dividend yield will not be necessary based on this new price.
