I must have skipped this initially.

What I meant was that in recent times the reportage of such deals were not prompt. Some took as much as 2weeks or more... smiley

unfortunately I don't share your optimism....
We have more mouths to feed
we have acquired a consumerist taste beyond us

And most damaging, we still have a profligate govt.
Precedence has shown that these combinations do not result in a sustained desired outcome here.

one question for you....
What do you think happens to Nigeria when the Eurobonds get due
In as much as I want a better Naija..
The first highlight is a strong point..we've acquired unsustained standards.

2. On the Eurobond, I assumed in due time, the govt will convert these dollars within these few months to fund contracts and balance of 2024 budget
Thus flooding the market with Naira again..

The Eurobond might not even have to be due for a back slide.

I could be wrong on 2.
Make PH & DR dey export dey go sha, make we no turn Zimbabwe.

I hereby nominate Senior Analyst Streetinvestor to lead the Nsempa team to this meeting, with the friendly advice to avoid argument with the Cowboy's bouncers, let alone with the Cowboy himself. Infact, don't even introduce yourself as Street....... at the entrance, nor include name(s) like bastardson in the team because it could attract undue bouncer watch and derail our mission, please, abeg. grin

Since it's foreign entities, hence international transactions and deal started in $ and will end in $ Independent of the naira value;
I am afraid MTO price will be at the Prevailing exchange rate when it's due.

It may not be as good as expected if naira appreciates.

@emmasoft I don't know your position in Investment One but I commend your effort in trying to resolve customer issues raised on this platform. BUT I have a question still: Is the email account not monitored? I wonder why a customer's enquiry will go unanswered for weeks. Actually, it's a rhetoric question. One of those little things that are often overlooked by organisations or people in business.
Investment one hardly respond to email, but whenever you login you'll get an auto-email notification of the login. They've littered my email with their login notification and its kinda annoying.

Anyway, the opt-in issue has been resolved. Not that they responded to my email and directed me on how to resolve it o. I just tried to purchase a stock yesterday to see if the "opt-in" message would pop up again and it went through.

It escaped in my memory to respond to you.
Anytime you see the opt in something at investment one app, just neglect and continue. It doesn't resist your buy/sell.

I will like to ask the person that cited festival period as the reason for appreciation of naira, has festival period not being happening in the last 5 years, why is this different?
You may not like the personality at aso Villa but Good things can come from a bad person.

They did something and we are witnessing the outcome.

If it's turn ugly you will be quick to reference the new development that brings about that bad change but now that the results is positive, it's festival that caused it. grin grin grin

May God help us all, but there is no objectivity in that submission.

In another news our dogoro is on track to deliver goodies soon..

Oh! I got those off the "News" tab of Morgan iTrade. I don't follow the news as such. I only check when I'm bored. cheesy cheesy

You have to sieve through to find the useful ones though.

Pretty sure other brokers would have something similar.
