The AGM audio was pretty bad so it was difficult to follow. Did they say they have 500 pigs now? Shot them a few questions via email but no response yet.

Why is it taking them so long to complete the CPO mill? Anyway, I still believe they will come good eventually. They are making good progress.

Why does it seem like shareholders jostle to move and second motions in AGMs? You should not miss the opportunity to ask management important questions about the business at the AGM. Anyway, I just think it's hilarious that the energy in the room goes through the roof when it's time for motions to be moved.

The 27/11 to 29/11 closure does not affect the special resolution regarding the distribution of shares. Register will be reopened after 29/11. It may because the company needs to send out notices, proxy forms etc.

However, if you are interested in the share distribution, then you gotta be a shareholder on the day the resolution is passed which is the AGM day (assuming shareholders vote in favour of the deal). Also note that shareholders will not be alloted the shares on this date. It may well be months after so it won't matter if you sold after this date (same way dividends are administered).
