Nigerian man in Canada shares how he earns $1875 per day packing snow by Alakoriomo(op):
Why is healthcare this expensive and unaffordable in the abroad ? I thought there are free ambulances that carry people to the hospital and free healthcare? According to what Nigerians over there used to tell us. Or is it only available to immigrants or Africans over there?

Or did they stop this thing already?

If healthcare professionals are well paid out there, it's because patients pay well. This is a place where healthcare is the "last line of defence" to use a line the lady used. Down here, we have many substitutes like:
1. Prayer (whether it works or not, it gives us hope)
2. Herbs
3. Suicide🤣

All because most of us are poor and therefore helpless.

But abroad is a working country, I find it hard to believe healthcare isn’t free. Usually, people should not die over there cuz it’s a working country

If a country or a family or anything whatsoever is working, someone is paying the price. If "abroad" is a "working" country, it's because people are paying the prices like taxes and high cost of healthcare.

He will hustle and make all that tedious money to come and build a house as a. Investment in an estate in Lagos only to be told that his house was built in a place designated as a highway to no where pr on top of an inexistent canal. May the deep state of Nigeria and Lagos burn in the deepest part of hell fire

This is what your country Nigeria does to your mind..

Makes you see this as a huge pay because by the time you convert it, it's over 3million naira

David Hundeyin once said the reason people desperately want to japa is simply to earn whatever foreign currency is available anywhere and convert it to Naira.. because Naira is sitting pretty very low down there in the list of world currencies. Further putting more pressure on those of us at home.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any issue with people earning honest living by whatever means even sweeping the streets..

But would this same post come up if Naira is traded between 50-100 to a Dollar??! 🤔

This is what they have done to your mentality via your currency.
