This stock was begging people to buy it at 3.30 sometime in September and I was picking it gradually.I regret not making it 1m units then because it was very much available though at different prices for weeks

There is still an opportunity for Nsempa members to buy chams tomorrow.
The stock seems to be locked for days especially now we have collected the key from the vendor.

Anything #2 and below is still OK.i bought 1.97,1.96 and 1.90 this week.I use APR money buy.
With Atlas portfolio I was able to grab 5m units at 1.90 on Monday.

Today I got 2.7m units at 1.95 with cardinal stone.

I got the other 10.250m units at 1.98,1.99,2.00 and 2.14 with different brokers.

Tomorrow I will try my best to buy the remaining units to complete the 20m units target.

The rest will be history in 6months to 12 months time.

One stock portfolio almost 100% completed.

Don't try it now unless you want the bone to block your oesophagus.

Though #10 is possible but don't enter now because of one way ticket.

It will still happen to you in charms. You will get your 100% but it won't go back to what you bought it.Though u will still reinvest in other opportunities. I sold my nem at #2.it never went back and now it is 10.It hardly happens to stock with steady improved results from my experience The pull back is usually small .

For 2025 :-

Oando is targeting 100,000 barrels a day production.

First E & P is also targeting 100,000 barrels a day production. Infact they currently have a rig from shelf drilling and hope to increase production from 58,000 bpd to 70,000 bpd in the near term. They also plan to monetize 100 million cubic feet of gas daily from their assets.

Seplat production expected to more than double to 120,000 bpd in 2025. Hopefully, they also start gas production from their ANOH plant( around 300 million cubic feet of gas daily) after the completion of OB3 by NNPC.

Indigenous oil companies will be eating good in 2025.

There is no clear path to a sustainable appreciated naira in the next at least two to three years

All the indicators are against us
High inflation and currency appreciation does not go hand in hand

High external debt and currency appreciation cannot go hand in hand

Our only way out in my opinion is if we add daily 450k barrels of oil to earn daily extra income
Anything short of that na wash

Dangcem may reach 915 by next year or early 2026, particularly when they increase their dividend to about 35 naira. It is a strong contender for a 100% return. This projection is purely based on technical valuation; I will conduct the FA later to see if both align. Feel free to challenge me (shoot me down) if this prediction fails, but if it does come true, remember it was me—the "oversabi" guy—who first brought it to your attention.

I have been wanting to buy some at 431 but the mountain of available offers at the moment is scary. I will wait for it to make another dip. Cos the only way now is down.

For the past two months or more, the stock has been steady, closing at 478.8, while the VWAP is around 431. This indicates that the daily average sales are at 431. Unless the numerous offers you mentioned only recently appeared, or you are not analyzing them correctly, the price should have dropped by now. Whatever the case, if the FA aligns, there’s no need to focus too much on the bid/ask data, as it is often misleading (I can tell you why).

I see a dividend of 35 naira, and using the discount formula, a target price of 915 seems likely.

Then, the exportation to Central America that was mentioned will, hopefully, begin next year or shortly thereafter.

Oyibo know how to take care of their own. One major German company in Nigeria having problems with this government, and the German president comes running on their behalf.

Maybe at the same time get Nigeria to keep sabotaging its own domestic oil refining by continuing to import fuel from Europe.

Omooloriredade:
Just in case you missed the first part of my post.

I started by asking what was huge in the announcement? Investors can not make informed decisions based on the info provided. Have a read of my questions again.

The part you quoted is "for benefit of doubt". What would you say if management already considered some of the questions posed and have answers to them? Striking a balance in your analysis especially when you don't have all the facts is a good practice.

I am in no way deluded about a special dividend being handed out. No cash payment is proposed. I have always maintained and even opined in the post you quoted that Oando should focus on paying off debts before anything else. However, management proposal could be a reward of some sort even though the ultimate goal is an accounting abracadabra. Balance sheet makeover. My questions already addressed the reward........what is my gain if I can't monetise it? So please read my post very well. Pretty sure I covered most of the issues if not all based on the available information at our disposal.

As for the Asset rich entities, again we don't have enough information to make a determination. Hence the reason I started with IF, again condition for it to be considered a positive. I don't know if it is.

If you were wondering if it is possible for an asset rich entity to struggle with payment yes, it is. I recall quite a few gas-powered Gencos struggled with settling their debt to the Gas suppliers at a time because Discos were unable to pay them for energy supplied. The system was so broken the FG had to step in (possibly a problem they can't be absolved of in the first place). Not going into the details of what they did or if it resolved the issues. That's another long story.
Also, some JV partners in O&G are well known to struggle with meeting cash calls yet they own appreciable Working Interest in lucrative oil blocks. It could just be sheer mismanagement or inidividual management prioritisation of capital allocation may not align with JV interests. Look up NAOC vs Oando debt case that only got resolved as part of the acquisition.

Summarily, read my post again. I tried to be as balanced as possible. I didn't go off maybes. My thoughts are based on announcements released by the company and annual reports.
https://punchng.com/n2-7tn-debt-nigerians-face-blackout-as-gas-producers-cut-supply-to-gencos/

An age-long problem, a systemic issue needing a fix. It's 2024 and it's still going on. Multi-faceted issues that I'd rather not go into.

Not suggesting Oando will be distributing shares in their power plant just backing my commentary about asset rich entities that could be facing temporary cash crunch or dollars to pay gas suppliers. It is left to investors to decide if they won't accept shares in a working power plant experiencing temp cash crunch due to a broken system.

Again, just an example. No idea what Oando is planning.
