Palmoil also gained about 20% in dollar terms this year. That means PRESCO and OKOMU will continue on their growth trajectory with ELLAHLakes perhaps joining them.

megawealth01:Naira at best can only defend current position. All the plenty promises of appreciation in the face of massive borrowings look very confusing as debt servicing takes its toll on govt revenue. The rate fluctuations will also lure people to save in Usd to preserve value which will definitely cause demand pressure. |

megawealth01:I am not even sure the govt wants Naira to appreciate so much now . The illusion of new minimum wage rides on the back of a very depreciated Naira. If Naira appreciate to 1k per Dollar many state govts no go fit even pay salaries. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 6:08pm On Dec 13, 2024 |
babytoun:Really... The so called minimum wage is ridiculous anyways even at an exchange rate of 300/$ Nigeria is too rich for such insult as monthly wage |

Trading actually happens between 9:30am and 2:30pm depending on your classification. A trader can place a bid/offer from 9:30am to 2:20pm. That 10minutes (2:20PM to 2:30PM) is what I call 'CLEARING PERIOD'... ![]() megawealth01: |

BabsO2:👌Graph supporting the article. I just think their products are among those not readily exportable in terms of meeting international standard. It's limited. (based on general Agric export reports from Nigeria over time ) They shld at least open new frontiers for the exportable old products since devaluation has also made it relatively cheap to buy from Nigeria. |

HesInMe:Take a look at the snapshot I quickly put together. There may be errors as I was rushing to finish before watching the new episode of Silo. You’ll notice that while debt is increasing, equity is growing at a faster rate. The debt-to-equity ratio remains well below 100%, and for 2024, the 70% figure represents the first six months. I’m positive that it will be lower by year-end. The blue cell in the corner is where I doubled the equity value to annualize the six-month data. Everything else should be self-explanatory.
