This surely could not be the news the Oando insiders were marketing to us huh huh
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 10:18am On Dec 17, 2024
The Ghana plant they’re acquiring for export is likely why. I’m wondering why they haven’t come out to say officially though. Still yet to see the outcome from the October board meeting

Oando was below 70 for quite a while, yet some people with their "tachere" thinking thought they were smarter than the big boys, who invested over 40 billion Naira at levels above that. If you had bought at 62, you would have outperformed those 50 billion Naira investments this year alone. Do you think the moneybags threw in that much money without analyzing the upside? Do you really think your "tachere" mindset and limited exposure can beat the billions? You’re deluded. grin

The same goes for Aradel. Billions have been invested at levels above the current price. Forget wretched analysis and follow the money (Billions).

shocked shocked shocked
Oando and Aradel are miles apart...I just wonder what will have happened to Oando if present govt wasn't in town, they basically started making money after that yet they are still in red. There goes the red on Oando on the floor....

OANDO
Result yet to be digested by many....

Wale style of leadership is the singular reason Oando is still in a messy state.

Oando might struggle for a while before any meaningful progress can be seen.

Massively dumping of the Oando stock is ongoing and might continue till Friday. Oando may touch ₦45 with this renewed selloff

You need to be objective. Aradel listed at close to 800 naira, but it was the same "red" on the floor that brought it down to below 500 before it reversed. So, the red on the floor is nothing new. The facts are undeniable: the company is making money, and the negative equity will soon be resolved, whether the current president does it himself or not—it doesn’t matter.

When result was bad self, did it struggle to move from N8/10 to N90?
Once the cowboys are ready, let's leave other stories......
By Q4 2024, the result will shed light on the new shareholding structure
Then we see how it fares again...

This result is ordinarily expected to take it to full bid self....
It's even looking like some people trying to depress the share price in market as at now.....
Something wey go still cross 100.....
When is what I don't know, may be sooner than expected, may be later.

How do you mean? You may help us with some context.
Oando's turnaround or transformation cannot be a sudden, one-time, overnight feat. It will be gradual.
But some signs have started to emerge. e.g. the gross margin ratio is about 6% in the Q3 2024 against between 4% and 5% for prior periods .
But they need to work on the huge administrative expenses. A segment (E&P) is doing relatively well, while others (e.g. Corporate Services) are just draining away the profits and dragging the company backward.
Fortunately, the ENI assets fall under the E&P segment, but it was only 1 month operation that was included in the Q3 2024 results ended 30-Sep-2024 (i.e. the acquisition was around 3 week of August 2024)

There will always be opportunities for Jijo.
The price has started falling. You can wait and buy when it falls to your preferred or comfort level and sell again when it rises.
Oando has good potential but its journey to full recovery will not be an easy ride .

On this oando agm, all I’ll say is some of these shareholders are weapons fashioned against the company. Rather than hold management accountable they’re doing eye service

Those guys are for-hire shareholders, coming for free food, and goody bag.

Thanks and God bless you my sister!
These Oando shareholders at the AGM are just too hypocritical for my liking. They did similar thing at the previous AGM. Seems like they were either planted by the management or seeking some favours from them
I regret not being able to attend.

Not all of them...
The person in suit currently speaking is saying the truth...... talking about shareholders not receiving dividends, compares ARADEL and SEPLAT in terms of profit making, etc.

The Mr. Adio that talked about adopting prospectus or something also talks well.....
I was even thinking say abi na Streetinvestor be this...😁

Make Oando hurry up return back to ₦30/₦40 so that we can load more for a long term hold.

For now, forget about Oando doing ₦100. It will oscillate between ₦45 - ₦65 which is ₦20 possible takeout each cycle.

Na clowns full this Oando management. They are not serious for a mega oil Corporation. They should learn from Seplat and Aradel.

grin grin
