My bio is 13 days already, received empty nsf on the 2nd day after bio. My agent said I shouldn't terminate. Bank mistakenly terminate even when my 2 months has not expired. I told them to credit me back first thing in the morning. It will be exactly 2 months on the 26th and I'll have to pay again till I get my visa. So so sad

I was banned since 2009 for deception and I applied for study visa since November 22, I received empty NSF since 29th of November for my spouse and Daughter too. Could it be the ban that makes the wait this long ? I have developed HBP just because of this. Guys I just need some sort of encouragement to know if any one who has gotten visa , even 15 years after the 10 years ban.

Just calm down all will be well, I don’t think it’s your travel history that’s delaying you, even some who don’t have a travel history are/have waited a longer time, you just happened to be among those that received nsf mail.
By the way you should do a paid call or mail to know the status of your application

Thanx for the encouragement, I have also checked with my references, all of them said they have not contacted them, so I have been wondering what they have been doing then ? It is well, I just hope the answer us before the end of the week...Also can my Naira card do paid call/mail?.once again thanx for the response

Once the ban is over, you have no reason to worry, in as much you did not repeat the same mistake as last time.

What caused the ban though
Mistakes need to be addressed here inorder to pave way for upcoming applicants.

How much at least do I need to have in my account as proof of funds for Masters of research program if my school fees is 15,000 pounds and I already paid 5,000 pounds deposit.

How much do my dependant (wife) also need to have in her account as proof of funds so that we can travel together. No kids yet.

I will appreciate an answer to this. Thanks

I did three different jobs then

Then you have nothing to worry about. I was denied visa to Hungary last year, this year, I applied for a sponsorship visa, I declared it and my visa is out.

Payment was declined, my account was not charged. I am trying to make another payment and that's is landing page I am taken to from the UK immigration site

This is just to encourage anyone currently waiting on their decision mail.

Just be calm, Mine took 6 weeks between August and September. I remember constantly refreshing the last page of this thread to see if others have gotten theirs and there's hope for me too. I even had to silence all app notifications except my mail cos of the anxiety.

The agent the school assigned almost cost me the whole process. He didn't apply till the second week my POF ended and also didn't submit all the documents I asked

I got an NSF mail the second day after my biometrics to explain all I've been doing since graduation ( 10 years study gap) . I responded with the mail composed by the agent, this time I added all my documents , Microsoft powerbi certificate that the agent said wasn't necessary, I even added the free online certificates I got on Florence academy .

Then the wait began, didn't hear anything for the first 2 weeks , had to put a call through , spent 3k plus till the call ended and I didn't get to say anything , I had to recharge another 6k to hear the normal generic thing they say but they'll escalate. I got a mail to give them up to 15 working days to reach a decision.

I checked the tracker everyday and it was still stuck at dmc (not sure if it's dmc or vac sef , the second step) , the third week I got " my application wasn't straightforward mail " ( I had to check NL and reddit fot the meaning to be sure that there's still no issue )

Meanwhile all this time I had ended my pof, so I was really scared. The fourth week I sent a mail and they said the normal generic thing again. The fifth week I was so hopeful , but nothing untill the sixth week. I got two separate emails in the space of 6 hours .

I understand how exhausting the wait can be .

Please l need help. My biometric was on the 22 of November. I didn’t get any email from them until Monday when l called to ask why. They only sent my application is under consideration and Is being worked on.
