megawealth01:I have said it, that one of the best ways to make huge money in the stocks market is to look out for undervalued stocks that have stagnated in price because the company is undergoing some restructuring, or turnaround. I mentioned Honey Well, Int'l Breweries. Int'l Breweries will also break out, but the problem is no one knows the exact time when the turnaround will be complete. It happened to WAPCO @N4; FBN@N3; BCC(Dangote)@N4; Oando @N4; Ikeja Hotels @N0.80 etc. |

You're the CEO of your portfolio, but for the less sophisticated traders out there, let us remind ourselves that this is not traditionally how to do investing. Active trading assumes you can 1) follow the market dynamics closely, 2) correctly anticipate what the market will do, and 3) correctly time that move. The objective evidence shows that most people are bad at this; even worse, most people underestimate just how bad they are at market timing. We're suckers by nature: Everyone dreams of hitting jackpot, not of losing everything. Because normal humans are bad at market timing, the things that matter more for investment performance are 1) diversification and 2) time in the market. Don't put all your eggs in only a few baskets. And compounding works best for those who have long investment horizons and keep buying sound stocks, come high or low. Now that we're all reminded, do as you will. Raider76: |

Oando having Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid at its end of year event while shareholders end up with nothing is bad optics. https://open.substack.com/pub/lifeasananalyst/p/does-oando-care-about-optics?r=1oizx&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true |
